I recently had breakfast at Riptides in Long Beach and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was so welcoming and laid-back, perfect for starting the day.

This is my 2nd time visiting long beach and this spot is my go to for when its time to eat. Their menu offer a variety of foods and drinks including a breakfast menu. They have seating available along with separate male and female bathrooms. Their portion sizes are good so what whatever you decide to get you’ll get plenty of it. My go to is the quesadillas which They the have multiple options. The service is pretty fast even at busy times. So if you’re visiting this beach or just hanging out on the boardwalk this is the spot to grab casual grub.

Went to Riptides for lunch and a smoothie. Only reason I didn’t give 5 star is because they only accept cash. No card. Would totally be 5 star if card was accepted. The staff was friendly. The food was great. The strawberry banana smoothie was excellent but my girlfriend didn’t care for her eye opener smoothie. The service was very fast. The view of the beach while we ate was incredible!!!

Have been here a couple of times during my visit and highly recommend it! Whether you need a coffee or quick bite they have great choices. The sweet potato tots are amazing! They are in a great location with a great view and plenty of seating. They have restrooms and ATMS (they only take cash).

Practically ate here for breakfast lunch and dinner for my entire 4 day stay at the Allegria hotel. The food is really good and the seafood is fresh. Their portion sizes are great considering they’re located right on the boardwalk. The only downside is that they’re cash only but they have two ATMs inside.

I seriously cannot think of a nicer place to have coffee on a weekend morning. This brings back memories of the “old boardwalk” in L.B. and in the best possible way. The staff behind the counter was friendly and to reply to another reviewer her skin color is irrelevant.

The food is so good. No frills, easy and delicious breakfast and lunch beach dishes. We had the fish and chips and the shrimp and chips. The chips are some of the best I’ve ever had. The view is spectacular too.

Just what we were looking for. Perfect location along the boardwalk to sit back, enjoy some music, people watch, and cool off. Staff was friendly and fast. So glad we stopped here. Accepted cash only, but there was an ATM right next to the counter. Bathrooms were in good condition.

Once you consider that the prices reflect the view, it becomes easier to pay them. Parking is free and close. Staff is friendly, food is good. Early morning breakfast sandwiches and coffees after a walk… simple but great.
