Rio Tomatlan was an absolute win from start to finish. The food was so, so good, especially the shrimp burrito—perfectly cooked shrimp, bold flavors, and one of those meals you keep thinking about after you leave. On top of that, our waitress Katie truly made the experience unforgettable. She was the kindest, sweetest person and made us feel so welcome the entire time. Between the amazing food and the incredible service, we’d honestly go back once a week if we could. Highly recommend—this place is a absolute gem.

We had Rio cater our wedding in Naples and they went above and beyond all we had hoped for. Molly and her crew amazed all of us with their professionalism, ability to adapt, warmth, and organization. Molly was absolutely amazing to work with – she made sure we were taken care of completely from the first tasting, the last hour of our wedding. She had an amazing attitude and served us well. And this is all alongside AMAZING food. Our guests loved it, and so did we. We will suggest Rio to EVERYONE. Thank you everyone, we were so blessed by everything you did. The photo is from a tasting that Molly did for us after our initial one to accommodate my fiances schedule 🙂

We came for an early dinner and were seated quickly at a cute and cozy table. This place is a little off the Main Street so it wasn’t super busy which was a plus. We ordered 2 margaritas, barbacoa tostadas and flautas de pollo. The food was seasoned and cooked well, lots of fresh ingredients and tasted authentic. I was happy to enjoy tostadas because they are not always offered in other restaurants. Service was good.

Went with my family, including a toddler on a busy Saturday. Food was amazing, their guacamole was probably the best I have ever had.
I still dream of the shrimp burrita that was melt in your mouth delicious. Carne asada tacos were also on point and amazing.
Maybe it was because we were seated far in the back, or our server had a lot of tables spread apart but it took a while for check backs or to get refill at times– the runners and bussers we great though when we asked for other items or to to get our server.
We would definitely come back if we’re back in the area just for the amazing food alone.

Our server was nice and apologetic but brought us a dish we did not order and forgot a drink.
Food took too long to come out but was incredibly good, except the beans were soupy. It shouldn’t take an hour to make some tacos and a vegetable platter.
Highly recommend the food, drinks, and atmosphere.

Stopped here on the way back from the lake for lunch and enjoyed the food! We tried the chicken flautas and chicken tacos. Their non-alcoholic drinks (Salty Dog and Palomina) were also delicious!

We really enjoy the food here. We visit often and try different things. They’ve had a few specials that were incredible and we would love to see them added to the menu.we have even asked for a special order because I was wanting a parlando pepper meal.
