Went for lunch with a buddy to give it a try. We were seated quickly and service was great. We both enjoyed our food(chicken burrito/beef taco/cheese enchilada #8 lunch). Salsa is the only complaint I have…not my favorite but edible. It brings back memories of Casa Bonita with all the great decor still intact. We would both go back.

If I could, I would leave 0 stars. My family and I went here for lunch and had a terrible experience. Took forever to get a table. Then had to ASK someone to even take our drink order. Even after we finally got our food, we couldn’t eat it while it was warm due to the fact that we didn’t have silverware and the waitress failed to bring them in a reasonable time. When I cut open my burrito, there was raw beef in it. Wouldn’t recommend and definitely am NOT going back.

We were visiting Tulsa on Saturday 2/19/17. Thought we would stop and show the kids Casa Benita was in, it was so cool back in the day. When the chips and salsa arrived I thought they were horrible. So we said my taste buds were off. So the food arrives, my taco is soggy from siting in queso. So we tell the waitress, she brings another one. I could only choke down my enchilada, the meat was so greasy did not eat the rest. Beans and rice very bland. Mike’s fajitas were burned. Won’t go back!!!

We had to find someone to seat us, food was barely warm, waitress did not check on us for drink refills or more chips, they were out of two options we chose and the waitress had to come back two different times to tell us that. We couldn’t find anyone around to pay our bill. The bathroom was dilapidated. We couldn’t find anyone to tell us where the bathroom was. We had to find it ourselves. And the food was not good. On par with a TV dinner.

The service was fast and friendly. We all left with food and full. Food was delicious the only complaint was that the steak looked smaller than advertised and instead of 5 shrimp there was only 3, but the food was so good we didn’t complain.

The food wasn’t awful but by no means was good. There was no greet staff. Waitress was decent. However I think there was only 1 waitress. Took 20 mins to get ticket and pay.
Don’t come expecting any similarities to Casa Bonita, you will be sorely disappointed.

I thought it would be like the old mexican restaurant but it wasn’t. But I decided to try it and I shouldn’t have. When I got seated it took forever to get my order and then they never checked bad in till the food came out and I was needing more water and chips but I couldn’t get any, plus it took forever to get my 2 enchiladas out there too me. Once I began to eat, she only came around once and asked if I needed anymore water and I had said yes, but she never came back till I had eaten all of my food which was about 15 minutes later. Also when I was signing the copy she was right there watching me sign and seeing how much tip I was going to leave her, and before that she was rucking us out of there.

Literally was greeted by a trio of vagrants looking for change. The first person to get us once inside was a homeless, pregnant woman trading oral favors for cigarettes…. No one could pay me to eat here. By the time we made it to where we were to be seated I was so abhorred by the lack of ac or lights, the disgusting nature of the entrance and the overall ambivalent nature of the staff we left without hesitation…. A truly disgusting attempt at a restaurant that should unceremoniously be condemned.

This place was awful! Everyone ordered enchiladas with red sauce. They brought it out with queso on top instead of red sauce. We sent it back and seriously all they did was pour red sauce on it. It was so gross and burnt. Then we asked for check. Took them 20 mins to bring the ticket. Husband asked for a discount bc of everything and the manager told him yes but charged him full price. He then brought that to her attention and she refunded him and then recharged $30. Save your money and taste buds. Dont go here!!

Took over an hour for our food and it wasn’t busy at all. The service wasn’t very good either cuz they was nowhere to be found. I enjoyed my food but everyone else hated it. My husband order ham but they put a slice of bologna on it.. we will not be going back.
