Stopped in for lunch while visiting Terrell Texas to learn about it’s history. The service was amazing! The place was pretty busy being a Sunday with the church crowd but we never had to wait for anything. The food was delicious and really hit the spot after walking all morning setting the sites. I had the brisket enchiladas and the wife had chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce. If your visiting or passing thru give them a try. The chicken fajitas were absolutely delicious! The seasoning was perfect and full of flavor, with juicy chicken and perfectly grilled onions and peppers. I called in my order and it was ready right when I arrived, which made pickup so easy. I also loved that they take tap pay for quick checkout. The rice and beans were a great addition, and everything was fresh and satisfying. Definitely a go-to spot for flavorful fajitas and great service!

We tried this place for dinner while in the area. We were greeted as soon as we entered and seated right away. Our server Cindy got our drink orders and returned to get our appetizer order Fresh Guacamole and Queso with Brisket. Both tasted fantastic. I ordered the Guiso which was so delicious and my partner order the Brisket Enchilada which was very delicious and prepared to perfection. The manager Maria check on us to make sure everything good. The house made Flan was also very tasty. The service and food are outstanding here. We found the restaurant clean as were the restrooms. We will return the next time we are in the area.

I’ve been here several times over the years. This restaurant has some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. The waitstaff is always attentive and the food comes out quickly even when they’re busy.

The food is always delicious. I tried the brisket enchiladas and they were amazing! Every meat is full of flavor and super tender. The chips and salsa are average, but every enchilada I’ve had here was excellent. The guacamole is simple but tastes exactly how I remember having it in Tulum, Mexico; it’s creamy, chunky, and full of lime flavor.

The men’s restroom is strange. My brother said the stall with the toilet is nearly on top of a urinal with no door. The women’s restroom is fine.

We had a party of 7 and didn’t get any warning there would be an automatic 20% gratuity added on the bill. My brother still added an additional tip, but I’ve never been to a restaurant where the waiter didn’t say something before we ordered.

Was in the area and stopped by for lunch. This restaurant is pretty authentic as far as Mexican food in the area. The customer service was spot on and I enjoyed the food!

I ordered a side of guacamole to start and, of course, they bring chips and salsa. The salsa was flavorful with a nice kick to it. The guacamole is simply mashed up avocados – but it was still flavorful (if you order it won’t come with tomatoes, onions, and cilantro). I settled on the crispy beef tacos and it’s served with rice and beans with a side of salsa. The tacos were really good, fresh, and enough for a lunch portion!

If you’re ever in the area, check this spot out!

Very similar to the town….. Some things look cool, but everything ends up average.. Great staff and restaurant very nice inside…. Water tastes like it’s pumped fresh from the pond…. I wasn’t disappointed with the food at all, but I didn’t have the urge to brag about it… so, par for the course.. got the 2 enchiladas [green tomatillo sauce and sour cream sauce] with hard taco combo…here’s an average picture for an average dinner

Family recently moved to Terrell so we ate here for the first time last week. It was overall a wonderful experience!! The service was friendly and attentive, and we were seated quickly. All of our food was delicious! The white queso and chips were fresh, the steak fajita meat ok jesse’s special was tender, and the soppapillas were sweet and enough for 4 to share especially after 4 entrees. Overall, a great experience and we look forward to trying more things on the menu!

Found this spot from Google when my mom & I were driving cross-country & needed to stop somewhere for food. The reviews looked good & so did the food/menu so we decided to stop. We were NOT disappointed! The customer service was great, our waitress was very attentive & fast, the FOOD was AMAZING. When I read other reviews I saw someone recommend the brisket quesadilla so we got it and whoever that was, you were right! It was delicious! In total we got the burrito ranchero (I think, if I remember correctly), the brisket quesadilla, & the brisket stuffed avocado. If you are craving authentic Mexican food, this is definitely the place to stop at. We were so happy when we left. If we are ever in Terrell, TX we will DEFINITELY be stopping by again!

We went to the Taco Festival only to find only one legitimate Taco vendor. We still in line for 30 minutes and finally gave up cuz they hadn’t moved. The one place that was making tacos ahead the slowest employee I’ve ever seen. So we check the mighty googler for Mexican food near us and found Rio l e r m a Mexican food was within walking distance. While we were walking in his family arrived at the same time and told us they eat there every week . Suggested a couple plates which I immediately could not remember when it came down to order it . Place had an excellent menu full of great dishes and variety. How are the food was good but it was not outstanding. I spoke to my family and nieces from Forney and they love the Forney location. We always judge by the salsa and chips and they were nothing special. However I see a lot of dishes that I would like to try and maybe visit again. Still I’m not saying it wasn’t good let me make that clear again. I’m just not putting it in five star category but it’s definitely great place to bring family and friends and enjoy some good drinks.
