Salsa and food were average/mid -BUT that 11.99 made-to-order guacamole?! EPIC. I ate on this thing for two days and it was amazing. Stayed green, perfect, chunky and full of fresh ingredients. I don’t have a lot to praise about the food I ordered the steak fajitas and it was very average -especially the salsa (reminded me of pace picante off the shelf in Walmart, sorry but it did) but that guac?? Mmmm -a YES .

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. Very disappointed with this visit. The restaurant wasn’t busy, yet our server, Sofia (Table A15), was inattentive the entire time. When I politely asked about drink options, she responded by saying “the menu is in front of you.” After our food was delivered, she never checked back on us — not even one refill — while attending to nearby tables. The food was just okay, and the salsa tasted watered down. Overall, the service and quality did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

This was our first time visiting this location and I just wasn’t impressed. For the price of the food, the quality and taste just wasn’t there. I got the chicken chimichangas, my husband got the Texas fajitas, and my kids shared the Texas ACP. I’m used to being served chimichangas with guacamole, sour cream, lettuce and pico on top. Same with fajitas, it normally comes with that. Every single Mexican restaurant I have ever been to presents it that way, this place gives you a little side salad with shredded lettuce, a drizzle of creama on top and that’s it – for the fajitas and chimichangas. The chicken was somewhat bland but the flavor wasn’t balanced. My kids ACP was dry, the rice just seemed super dry and old. The salsa is pretty good. Our service wasn’t the best and our table of 8 went without water or tea refills several times with several people. Our server disappeared for most of the meal and only returned to offer a dessert menu. I will not be back to this location just based on service and the food was mediocre.

I’ll be honest… this was our second visit, and we came back reluctantly. Our first experience wasn’t great and we’d actually said we probably wouldn’t return.

But today? Salvador completely redeemed this place.

He was patient, attentive, and somehow handled my classic indecisiveness like a pro… offering genuinely good suggestions without making me feel rushed. Our son was also… not in his best mood (to put it kindly), and Salvador was still incredibly kind and generous with him, which did not go unnoticed.

Service like that makes a difference. He went above and beyond, and because of him, we will 100% be back! (And let’s be real, we’ll probably be asking for Salvador from now on.)

We went today and I was so happy that they opened the patio and our server Sofia was so friendly, we ordered Jalapeño margaritas and made to order guacamole and it was so good! We’re definitely going back and ask for her !!

Went on a Thursday, mid-afternoon and sat outside. Margarita was okay. I got a slight buzz after the second one. I’m a drinker so this was not bad. Chips/salsa was good but then, when is it not. The Danni Boi was interesting. Beans were okay, rice was cooked nicely, shrimps were delicious (maybe because it wasn’t drenched in sauce). Chicken was moist but too much sauce. Onions and Steak were swimming in sauce. Although recommended by waitress, if I come back I’ll order tacos or tamales instead. I missed the tamales on the menu until another guest ordered the build three plate. It seems I missed the back of the menu or that’s where maybe the delicious items were located I wanted. Overall not bad. Not the best, not the worst, just average. Service was great as waitress was nice and kept checking on my table and if I needed anything.

Oscar was our server and he was excellent!!! Everything was done exceptionally well. Fast service. Delicious food. Family of 4 cost us $81 before tip and we had an extra cheese dip to boot!!!! $20 a person for an exceptional dinner nowadays is a absolute steal. Thank you Rio Grande for always being on point and thank you Oscar for an amazing waiter experience.
