I wanted in with the worst attitude and after dining here I felt so much better. Maria the server was so kind especially after we came in after getting caught in the rain. Classic diner food if you want something comforting to settle down with. I ordered the Belgian waffle and Maria loaded my up on while cream!! Would highly go back again!

Our server was extremely professional, fast and courteous. The reasoning for giving a 4 star rating is because the cashier / manager appeared to be agitated when we wanted to purchase some cake slices. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will be back, but next time will order cake tableside and hope that the cashier/ manager will be in a better mood.

Great diner experience. Three generations working there. The owner promised us the best breakfast in Rio Grande, and I believe he delivered. Omelets were great, and the apple pie was delicious. Will definitely stop again when we are in the area!

Most importantly the food was good. We had a waffle, a burger, and some pancakes. All of it was great and came out of the kitchen pretty fast. Reggie was an outstanding waiter. We’ll stop by again if we are in the area.

Clean, courteous, fast, and fresh. Classical diner food, with a clean, modern style. Very impressive portion size for the money.. and the quality is as is should, other diners can learn from this example. Could use better signage, I would have missed it if I wasn’t coming here on purpose.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! Nice big Cobb salad, perfectly cooked sirloin. Very efficient friendly service. Could use a better variety of cooked veggies as sides, but overall wonderful.
