* I ordered a Negroni + it was terrible, the waitress was hesitant in wanting to exchange it but ultimately did for a Margarita which wasn’t bad.
* I had no card or lamp or any indicator to let the guachos know when we wanted to be approached + when we were taking a break
* I saw several options come out of (+ returned) to the kitchen without being offered at my table.
* The food tasted okay but nothing was exceptional expect for the picanha
* No one asked if there were any cuts of meat I hadn’t tried or wanted more of
In the end, one gaucho, named Victor, asked us how we were enjoying our experience. I let him know that I wasn’t pleased + he made every effort to improve our time. He brought us the cheese with honey which we were never offered. He brought us the cuts we hadn’t yet tried. He even put some pineapples on the grill for us since we missed out on the whole pineapples that circulated throught the dining area earlier.
All in all, we will not be going back. But we are so appreciative of Victor who did everything he could to help us have a good time
The picanha (sirloin cap) was absolutely fantastic–tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. But the surprises didn’t stop there. I was delighted to find that they also serve grilled octopus, which was incredibly tender and easily a highlight of the meal.
The experience is rounded out by a fantastic selection of sides and bar items. The fresh vegetables in the salad bar are crisp, and the soup selection is excellent. My wife was thrilled with the array of fresh fruits available for a lighter finish.
For dessert, don’t miss the grilled cheese with syrup–it’s a unique and delicious sweet/savory treat!
Finally, the service was attentive and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. The value here is unbeatable: their weekday lunch special, running from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, is only $24.99 per person. If you’re looking for a top-tier churrascaria that prioritizes flavor and freshness over salt, Rio Grande Churrascaria (Pinecrest) – Flavorful, Fresh, and the Best Value!. Highly recommended!
In terms of food, my experience was consistent with other reviews. Some cuts were a little bland, undercooked, or overcooked, while a few were spot-on with great seasoning and temperature. For reference, I usually prefer my meats cooked medium, though I don’t mind them slightly medium rare or a bit more done.
The main disappointment was the churrasco. The cut we received was almost completely rare, and though we politely asked for a more cooked portion, it never came around.
On the positive side, we enjoyed the shrimp, octopus, plenty of picanha, ribeye, pork, lamb, the grilled pineapple with cinnamon, and the delicious grilled cheese with honey.
We also considered dessert, but most options were unavailable, leaving us with just one choice. I tried the Café Bombom, which was excellent.
Since we visited on a weekday at lunchtime, there was no entertainment, but that didn’t take away from the experience. They have live music on the weekends. Overall, for $25.99, I think it’s a good value.
This All-U-Can Eat restaurant offers a variety of cuts of meat. They are always tender, juicy and flavorful.
For years, my family and I dined couple times every month at Texas de Brazil. We always considered it as the best Brazilian steakhouse.
Until we dined at Rio Grande in pinecrest. This became our best Brazilian Steakhouse Full Stop
My favorite cuts are the lamb chops, lamb leg, churrasco, picanha and garlic shrimp.
The lamb chops are as soft as butter. They are superior to most of the top end Brazilian steakhouses.
The salad bar has various options of delicious items. My favorite is the ceviche.
Don’t forget to try the cheese bread. Also, you must try the cheese and honey. It’s is grrreat.
You must try The chimichurri sauce. It is so good that it can make a rubber shoes tastes delicious.
The waiters and gaucheros are friendly, professional and thoughtful.
We dine at this location on south Dixie Highway about 3 times a month.
Each time we return, we find the food and service keep getting better and better.
I highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.
This is my second time here.
