We all really enjoyed our dinner. I had the whole red snapper and it was phenomenal! The margarita is a margarita mix so no fresh lime and they did not have simple syrup. Most of their English is not very good. But over all we really enjoyed it. The churro dessert was delicious.

The service and food were totally outstanding. The restaurant is new and very clean and bright. My only complaint is that there is virtually no parking near it. We luckily found a vacant spot, probably only because we arrived for a late (1:30 pm) lunch.

Went there for lunch and ordered bowl salad with chicken that came with a side of soup. The menu wasn’t as descriptive, so I wasn’t sure I was going to get. The Salad was ok; it was lettuce, tomatoes, and the seasoned chicken. For some reason I expected more, maybe some beans or avocado on it. The soup was traditional, and I quite enjoyed it! I last ordered the flan, and that was ok. It wasn’t as smooth as flan is meant to be and it lacked tinge more sweetness but that’s due to the texture. It was served with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. The flavor profile was all over the place here. This dish could be improved with a fresh caramel sauce, and some fresh fruit to stay cost effective. Given the location and the price of $15, I was satisfied with the food and experience. I will be coming back again to try other items on the menu.

Walked in about 8:10. Only two tables had customers and a third was full of servers/workers. I asked if I could sit at bar and they said yes. I got a beer right away and deferred on food at that time but planned to have some food and another beer. It took 20 minutes before anyone got up from the worker table to check on me. Needless to say I cashed out and my night of very poor service continued.

My cousin’s & I arrived, 5 people, the 4 of them from out of town so you’d hope for a pleasant experience since I’m the transplant you Augusta now …
Unfortunately not. We noticed early on that Grace our servers answer for everything was “IDK” ♀️… We also noticed early on that Pablo the manager seemed to check on allllllll the other tables on the patio but the melanated one!!!
Grace had issues returning to the table, we had issues getting refills, and we had alcohol, when we wanted to ask for something or add something else she’d just walk off, or any additional questions her answer was “IDK” ♀️…
As we all know that’s really reassuring at a restaurant ♀️….
Grace just kinda seemed like she was irritated or annoyed the entire time.
The steak my cousin ordered medium, was complete leather strap, WEEEELLLLLLLL DONE DONE! My other cousin didn’t get everything that was supposed to come with his meal, he had to ask for it when she finally returned.
Drinks were empty for quite some time, to the point that when she finally returned nobody even wanted another drink by then. We were just ready to be done, we even had to wait for her to return to gather the cc’s for the bills.
When I finally got the managers attention Pablo and called him on his actions he just kind of smiled it off I even told him about the overcooked steak and everything and he didn’t say a thing, or try to rectify it!

Took my family here for lunch today. Ordered Queso, and the cheese was off, taste wise.
I got the taco salad with ground beef, and my son got the Burrito with chicken cantina style. My mom got the beef taco salad, too.
The meat appeared to be boiled in water, zero flavor. The chicken also boiled in water with zero flavor.
The taco shells smelled of rancid oil. The water tastes of mold.
It’s not a good start…

I wasn’t too impressed with Rio Cantina. I love the location being so close to the Greenway and the Green Jackets stadium, but the food was lack luster. Not a lot of flavor other than the chips and salsa.
