The food was ok. As other reviewers have mentioned, the lady taking orders isn’t the most friendly person with customers. The lady who brought the food out from the kitchen was very pleasant. The fish was fried well but wasn’t seasoned very well. They don’t have hot sauce or vinegar. The macaroni & cheese has a unique taste with a little kick to it. I think the cabbage was a few days old. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. If I’m in the area, I may give them another try.

Just a quick update. You can longer dine-in and no restrooms available. However, it’s a few options a few stores down to locate a restroom. I think it’s best to order ahead as this location is busy. Now, onto the food! I’m pregnant and my baby started kicking once I got that mac and cheese down!! My family threw down. If your looking for fresh soul food stop here and thank me later! This is our new spot!!

Man oh man! This was an awesome soul food stop and I will be coming back soon! I had a burger combo with chili and slaw added (does cost extra) and my sweetheart had a fishplate with cabbage and Mac and cheese my Lord!! Oh and the burger is not just any burger, you can tell that is handmade, seasoned to perfection and not out of a food processed box. Great tasting food and again I will be back soon!

I would not recommend. The food tasted weird and I ate it because I don’t like wasting money but I tried the place just because the food did look appealing. But after I ate my second scoop of cabbage I saw what I thought was BACON I cannot eat any PORK NOR BEEF. No one stated that at all !! I got sick a couple minutes after and just was nauseous and headache and tummy pain but I stop eating pork and beef 4 years ago and the fact that food was not good and let alone the bacon that was in it!
