No longer have desserts even though they still have them listed on their menu. The only drinks they have are Pepsi and water. They didn’t have anything I came there to order. They won’t let you use the bathroom. The cabbage was so spicy I couldn’t eat it. The sides were larger than the meat portion, which was the roast chicken. Bad experience, I will never go back.

Man oh man! This was an awesome soul food stop and I will be coming back soon! I had a burger combo with chili and slaw added (does cost extra) and my sweetheart had a fishplate with cabbage and Mac and cheese my Lord!! Oh and the burger is not just any burger, you can tell that is handmade, seasoned to perfection and not out of a food processed box. Great tasting food and again I will be back soon!

I would not recommend. The food tasted weird and I ate it because I don’t like wasting money but I tried the place just because the food did look appealing. But after I ate my second scoop of cabbage I saw what I thought was BACON I cannot eat any PORK NOR BEEF. No one stated that at all !! I got sick a couple minutes after and just was nauseous and headache and tummy pain but I stop eating pork and beef 4 years ago and the fact that food was not good and let alone the bacon that was in it!

It’s a good thing that we don’t live closer or we’d be here every week (we’re from Canada!) The hotel staff said if we wanted Soul Food, this is where we should go. Wow were they right! Delicious melt in your mouth, fall off the bone home-cooked chicken and ribs with all the fixings, served up by warm and friendly people. They found out it was my birthday and I found surprise birthday cake in the bag – thank you! If we had more time we could have spent an hour looking at the walls. Lots of history here. We’ll be back next time we’re down the I-95.

I give it a 10 out of 5 !!!!! I travel a lot on my job and eat out twice sometimes 3 times a day and this was by far the best meal I’ve bought . To top it off the price out beats any other restaurants I’ve been to . This meal literally made my day .
