This was our first Peruvian food experience.
Food was really delicious and It was certainly unique. Good potion sizes. Lovely presentations. Friendly service. Helped us with questions we had and explained clearly.

My wofe is Peruvian, and I lived there for 3 years, and we both agree that Rinconcito Peruano is the real deal. There are over a dozen local styles of cuisine in Peru, this is very representative of costeño, or coastal, food.
When in Lima the mariscos con arroz (rice with shellfish) is my go-to choice, and this place does it perfectly. Since they don’t have pollo a la brasa (rotisserie chicken) my wife had the pollo a la parrilla (grilled chicken). The chicken was very good, but the potatoes were just warmed up and not cooked well (our only complaint). Portions were quite large, as you’d encounter in Peru, and we had plenty to take home for dinner.
Next time we’re in Lynnwood we’ll definitely be stopping by.

Every time we eat here, we always wonder why we haven’t come sooner. We leave with flavors dancing in our mouths. Everything we’ve had has been delicious, but we look forward to the Jalea Mixta. If you love seafood, this is it! This is a friendly family run restaurant, and I love to support it. Great food from great people!

Having lived in Peru and visited there frequently my wife and I were very impressed during our recent luncheon at Rinconcito Peruano. The food, presentations and service were excellent. The menu is expansive; the flavors and textures of the dishes we savored were truly “authentic Peruvian cuisine”. The freshness and quality of ingredients is incredible.
We ordered the “Aperitivo Criollo ” as we were interested in the variety of the items in the presentation. The flavors of each item were “spot on”, exactly what you’d receive at a restaurant in Lima or Miraflores. The Aji Amarillo sauce on the Papa a la Huancaina was very tasty and nicely presented. The Anticuchos were flavorful and tender.
Our next menu adventure was the Duo Marino which included a Ceviche and Arroz con Mariscos. I requested the arroz to be prepared “estilo chaufa”. It was simply delicious! Even though it is difficult to replicate the flavor of the Peruvian lime in the US, the flavor of the ceviche was excellent. The freshness of the fish was evident. Finally. a Seco Norteno arrived. The beef was very tender and the cilantro sauce perfect.
If you want authentic, traditional Comida Peruana, DO NOT miss Rinconcito Peruana. The portions are generous and pricing is very reasonable.
Yes, and if you’re wondering, our last choices were made to ensure we had sufficient “left overs” for a second meal at home.

My family is of Chinese Peruvian descent and when I found out about this restaurant I had to try it. There aren’t any authentic Peruvian restaurants like this in Vancouver (where we’re from). We ordered the Pescado Frito Entero, Causa Rellena with shrimp and the Bistek A La Pobre. The food was fresh as it was made to order, flavors were just like back home and staff is extremely friendly. It’s comfortable family dining with a welcoming setting. I love the Peruvian decor throughout. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to others.
