We were so lucky to find this place!! The food was fabulous and they make most everything in House FRESH!! Even some of the drinks are made there using their recipes!! The Fish was crispy and delicious with tender flaky flesh. Do not skip the shrimp cocktail!! It is incredibly delicious!

Absolutely loved our experience at Honduras Mexican Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly kind, including the owner, who was so welcoming and genuine. The service was amazing and super fast without ever feeling rushed.
They even specially made veggie tacos for us, which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. I also ordered the steak tacos, and the meat was perfectly cooked and tasted super fresh. All the veggies and ingredients were clearly high quality.
The food was served in the cutest way on little taco dividers and trays, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is adorable—very island-y and cozy, such a fun vibe.
And don’t skip the lemonade — it tasted genuinely fresh-squeezed and was so refreshing.
Overall, amazing food, amazing service, and such kind people. We highly, highly recommend everyone check this place out. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been here twice, and the food has been absolutely delicious both times. You don’t find many authentic places that make homemade corn and flour tortillas, and theirs are truly special. I highly recommend their baleadas—they are incredibly delicious and full of flavor. We really enjoyed both the food and the service. I will definitely be coming back!

Definitely a hole in wall restaurant that’s amazing! Service was amazing, we made a mess and they were so kind and understanding. We stopped here on our way to Florida from DC, definitely a great place for dinner. As a Honduran, the food was definitely authentic and delicious. The restaurant is small but cozy and very well decorated. The food was filling and great. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

Delicious Delicious Delicious. We shared the Wednesday special dirty chicken, which is fried chicken plantain salad mixture. So delicious and we shared a chicken burrito that was so juicy and loaded with cheese and goodness. Don’t pass up this fabulous place. We were passing through on I 95 and I read some reviews and it was well worth a three minute detour from I-95.

First time I eat this restaurant, as a Honduran I was truly impressed by all the flavors of the food. My husband ordered pollo con tajadas and finished the entire plate, I had the basic breakfast and it was soooo good! The beans were so delicious, I will definitely come again. Only thing I will say, the atmosphere is a bit off, it’s dark and the place is small.

Really wanted to love this place. Love supporting small businesses and mom & pop shops. Based on the high reviews, I was very eager to try. Unfortunately, the only item that was semi-edible was the Yuka fritas. The rice in the picture is a double order and was on the crunchier, dryer, al dente side. The pollo con tajadas was primarily bones, chicken jerky and breading. The bed of plantations below was dry, hard, and old/stale tasting. The carne asada from the Honduras menu was thin, beef jerky textured and the beans tasted like a packet of taco seasoning. Not sure if this is an acquired taste type of thing or perhaps it was the time of day?
