Been wanting to try this place as I’ve only eaten at one other Puerto Rican restaurant before… Unsure of what I wanted to try…knew for sure I wanted the arroz con gandules. We were offered samples to see what we preferred. I went with the chicken tacos… home made corn tortillas were amazing! I also had a made to order lemonade… and treated myself with cornbread sticks… the atmosphere was great… there was a live dj and there’s a bar that shares the same area. This place is perfect for date nights and with the weather letting up, it makes eating outside pleasant. We will be back.

I first have to say that both of these plates are plates that I love love love to cook and really love to eat. With that said … I have tried so many places in my quest for perfect Latin food and this cook did not disappoint. I felt like I was back in Miami eating this ropa vieja and the arroz was as good as the rice I had in Luqillo. The food was so flavorful and the pernil and ropa vieja were pure perfection. I will definitely be coming back ♡
Update: The last two times I have gone I haven’t even been able to get food. The first time I went it was perfect but the second and third time I have waited over 20 minutes minutes to get ready for them to open after their hours of opening for their workers to not even acknowledge me. I’m the only one here. Sad. I’ll check this one off my list.

Had a horrible experience with this food truck, waited almost 2 hrs for our order. Churros weren’t great and nachos were ok. I was gonna ask for a refund and just leave but my child wanted to try their food. First and last time ordering from them. Never again!
