Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon this spot! We had Pollo guisado and oxtails. Food was super yummy and service was friendly. Can’t wait to try more options!

Rincon Caribeno Restaurant in Norwood is a great find. It’s a clean establishment with friendly and accommodating staff. I enjoyed a meal that included white rice, black bean sauce, baked chicken, fried yuca, and plantain. The soursop smoothie, customized with no added sugar, was a refreshing choice. The salad was fresh and crunchy, adding a nice balance to the meal. The food was well-seasoned, with spices and flavors reminiscent of a home-cooked Sunday meal. Portion sizes were generous, making it a good value. Despite living in the city, I’ll definitely revisit this restaurant.

Food was ok. Kinda salty but it was good. I’ve had better. I like how food is covered up and not dried out.

Maybe because I’m used to eating good Spanish food and growing up around Puerto Ricans and Dominicans and this is by far the most expensive disgusting food I ever ate. $27.00 for 2 empanadas and chicharrones!!! They need to either lower the prices or get a better cook!!!

The empanada was delicious. I got very basic one. The plantains were delicious.
Marisol, was great. The prices are incredible. My empanada was $6 and it was big…
This was my first time and will go again.
I didn’t rate the atmosphere because I was there alone….

Ordered 4 empanadas, told the wait would be 12 minutes. Waited over 40 minutes to get food. One was incinerated and inedible, the others were undercooked and flavorless. The cheese had not even melted. They were out of the one I ordered and replaced it without communication. The food was overpriced, even if it was edible. SAVE YOUR MONEY! GO TO EL TIPICO SALVADORENO 2 down the street instead! This was quite literally the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in years.

Delicious, homemade, friendly staff. We took a platter to go for the family – rice with black beans, beef with peppers, platanos maduros empanada de pollo, side salad. Everything was perfectly seasoned and fresh. Lovely atmosphere and really friendly owner.
