I don’t even know where to begin. We choose this place based upon all the good reviews and I can’t for the life of me understand why anyone would feel good about spending their hard earned money at this dingy health hazard. From the moment we arrived it seemed somewhat promising with its quaint location and welcoming host man. We were seated just around the corner from the bar and were told someone would be with us shortly and took our drink orders. After about 20 mins a young woman came to the table and said she would check on our drinks and didn’t even introduce herself as our service person. We were given no recommendations and felt very uncomfortable. We ordered the Bruschetta which was horrendous but our bad on not fully reading it was a Brussels sprout, onion, goat cheese mixture and not the heirloom tomatoes we read so many fabulous reviews about. We then proceeded to try the garlic bread which was burnt to a crisp. Would have loved to try the bread and olive oil mix that every one else had but it was unfortunately never brought to us. We then ordered the spaghetti which had a decent sauce but soft mushy meatballs and extremely over cooked noodles. A cold bolognese that was the best thing we ate. I would maybe eat that again if we ever venture back. House wine was great, always nice to see peroni on tap. Overall this place was in serious need of a deep cleaning, staff training, and a palette reevaluation. I hate to even leave such a review but I truly would hate to contribute to anyone else trying this establishment when there are so many wonderful options in our area that are a much better use of your time and resources.

Quaint little spot perfect for a date night. The focaccia was to die for and that simply set the standard for the meal. Would highly recommend the Bolognese!

Great food and the service was perfect! This is a nice spot for a date night or large dinner. I recommend the pizza or pasta for a classic Italian dinner. It’s a nice area too if you’re hopping around for drinks and dinner. They have a great selection of wine too and fair bottle prices!

Best Italian spot in the Cities for legit Italian cuisine (not the spot if you’re looking for American Italian – head to Carmelo’s for a great option). Nice cocktail and wine list, good NA options, and cozy atmosphere, plus Italian-style service: knowledgeable and friendly without interrupting your meal every few minutes. The pasta is the highlight by far; their bolognese is the only one that comes close to my own, which uses the recipe given to me by the chef at the American Academy in Rome.

A very cute space for very tasty food, We loved everything we tried! They had gluten free pasta that was better than the norm and the sauces were fantastic. Our waiter, Johnny, was an absolute delight! He was very friendly and attentive despite how busy the restaurant was. He really made a good experience a great one!

A hidden gem, authentic Italian spot! Just recently found out about this place tucked into the northern part of Uptown. The handmade pasta is superb! I ordered the Bucatini which paired perfectly with the house Cabernet. And the fresh focaccia was a hit too. I’m absolutely coming back.

This is the best Italian restaurant I have been to in the US. It tasted natural and authentic, and the servers were super sweet and friendly. The restaurant itself was cozy and a good place to sit down and chat. I had the pappardelle and cannoli for dessert. My friends also loved their food. Everything was exquisite!!
