Went there for my birthday dinner while in Rome, earlier this month. People are amazingly friendly, food is fantastic. I had octopus and then beef cheeks and potatoes. Some of the best food I have ever had. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, big long tables where you can share space and energy with others. Great wine recommendation and got try several different olive oils. When I get back to Rome I will return. There is so much more to try. Amazing place.10 out of 10!!

Every time I’m in Rome, I have to stop at this restaurant. The sommelier is incredible — truly an expert. I always give her carte blanche to pair my wine with the food, and she nails it every time. She’s attentive to every detail, speaks several languages, and always makes sure to communicate in yours. Professional yet relaxed, she creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit a great experience. The food is always excellent too. Highly recommend!

A real gem! Every dish was exciting and full of personality, with a memorable twist that made the meal feel special from start to finish. The wine pairing was excellent, and the staff were warm and welcoming. We came in as a walk-in and instantly felt at home.

The chef’s bonus was a highlight, and our waitress made the evening unforgettable. She was incredibly knowledgeable about local wines and guided us through tastings from different regions, almost like a story. The whole experience felt like a perfectly curated narrative. Thank you so much!

We booked a table a came to soon but the staff welcomed us with a big smile and said it was OK. We sat outside and the waiter was nice, informed us about the menu. We chose three different antipasti’s, all of them were really delicious and the wine that the sommelier recommended was amazing.
Overall a “need to visit when in Rome”, 5/5!! Highly recommended!

Very nice atmosphere, shared tables but the distance between was very good and wasn’t affected the experience. We enjoyed a very nice dinner, the porcini with chestnuts was a hearty and very delicious dish, also the busiate pasta was delicious and cooked to the point. A nice and big wine list

Phenomenal spot! They have a huge wine selection so there is something for everybody. Service was friendly and attentive. Food is fresh and delicious; pasta is cooked perfectly. Loved the cacio e pepe and rigatoni with oxtail ragú. You won’t be disappointed!

Rimessa Roscioli delivers an unforgettable Roman dining experience. The tasting menu shines with creativity and balance—starting with a vibrant octopus and potato dish, layered with fresh herbs and radish for a refreshing bite.

Handmade pasta, rich in texture, pairs perfectly with bold sauces, while the lamb chops are tender, deeply flavorful, and simply seasoned to let quality speak. Warm service and curated wine pairings elevate the evening.

A must-visit for authentic yet refined Italian cuisine in the heart of Rome.

Review of Rimessa Roscioli – Rome
Last night, we had a very disappointing experience at Rimessa Roscioli.

Let me start by saying that the food quality was very good, the ambiance was inviting, and both our server, Roberto, and the sommelier were outstanding. Normally, I only write positive reviews. If I have nothing good to say, I prefer to say nothing at all.

However, I feel compelled to share this experience to spare others a similar disappointment. When a restaurant offers good food, a pleasant setting, and kind employees, yet still manages to deliver a poor experience, the problem usually lies in leadership.

Here’s what happened: our daughter ordered the special of the day — a simple fettuccine with pecorino cheese. It took over 40 minutes to arrive and was brought out a full ten minutes after my wife and I had received our main dishes. By the time it finally came, we had both finished eating — and I am a very slow eater.

Our daughter, who has worked in restaurants and bars for several years, was in disbelief. Frustrated, she asked for her dish to be packed to go. Although the staff apologized for the delay, they still charged us for it. When the plate finally arrived, it looked like something that could have been prepared in five minutes. After we complained, they removed the charge — but also took the dish away.

I would not recommend anyone spend their precious time in Rome going through such an experience.

To the restaurant’s management, I offer a few suggestions:
• Hire an additional cook.
• If a dish will be delayed, make sure it’s not the special of the day.
• If one plate is running late, delay all dishes so guests can eat together.
• If you still can’t manage that, don’t charge for the delayed dish.
• And above all, never take the food away after apologizing and removing the charge.

To avoid further annoyance, please don’t respond to this review with “We are sorry about your experience, but…” — just actively work on the suggestions above.
