We had a very enjoyable early dinner here. Tapas were very good, especially for O’ahu. Its squid ink paella was quite good. The eggplant was a favorite for our small group. The omelette (tortilla) was very tasty. The cocktails were pricy, but decent. The service was very friendly and attentive. The whole dinning area was airy and comfortable. The parking was $5 plus tips. Or you can just park on the street where there were many spaces available when we arrived at 4:30.

So far, my favorite Italian place here. Even my Asian dad who generally doesn’t like Western food likes their pasta!

Food: The pasta noodles are made from scratch which has this Al dente texture and flavor that your typical grocery boxed pastas can’t replicate. Last night, I got their carbonara with portobella fritto. It was super creamy and I like how the portobello frits is lightly fried. My friends got bologna and arrabbiata with smoked mozzarella which were also solid choices. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of their pasta choices. Although the portion of the pastas looks “small,”it’s actually filling since it’s very heavy and the big plate gives the illusion that the portion is small.

Another must-try is their bismark pizza that has truffle oil, funghi, and a runny egg in the middle. Super flavorful especially since they use wood fire to bake it.

Service: our server was very friendly and well-spoken.

Atmosphere: slightly more on the noisy sound so you may have to talk a little louder when dining with people. The decor I would say is kind of like casual fine dining? The bathroom was really nice! They have a bidet and the toilet paper is super soft thick. I think it’s the charmin brand lol.

Parking: I went during dinner so their parking lot was valet. I didn’t want to pay so I parked at Safeway right across the street. But during lunch hours it’s not valet and it’s free self-parking.

Had a really good time sitting at the bar where we were accompanied by Jeff the bartender. Drinks we chose which were the Shiso Highball and a Lili-thai cocktail happened to be recipes made by Jeff. The food selection was what surprised me the most. Both Spanish and Italian food were being served so me and my partner both got a truffle pizza with prosciutto, grilled octopus that was to die for, and a crab paella. The pizza was amazing, flavorful and rich. The risotto was pretty amazing but if I had the chance to go again, I’d pick octopus paella just because the grilled tako we had was so good.

Outstanding Every Time!
I come here for almost every special occasion, and it exceeds my expectations every single time. The service is absolutely exceptional — professional, warm, and attentive — making every visit feel special and worth every penny.

The food is consistently amazing and beautifully prepared. The appetizers are always a perfect start, especially the crostini. The paella, risotto, lamb chops, and pasta are all perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. It’s rare to find a place that delivers such quality and consistency, but this restaurant truly does it all. Highly recommend for any celebration or night you want to treat yourself to something memorable! They always have new drinks to try too and I love the drinks here. I highly recommend this place.

Celebrating with friends for holiday dinner, loved large menu selection and shared appetizers, the daikon tortilla taco was a treat and favorites were crostini with prosciutto and Melanzane eggplant and bolognese dip with garlic bread. The 4 instead of 5 stars for food is for portion sizes and the funghi pizza which had a soggy crust and could have used more mushroom toppings. Could have also been more generous with the crab appetizer as well. Pork cutlet was delicious. The restaurant was busy but service was attentive and great. Atmosphere has a fun vibe but can get really loud so hard to have a conversation.

Delicious tapas and cocktails. The rest of the menu also looked stellar but we just stopped for lunch. Our server, Amanda, was fantastic. The clams tapas was outstanding! Apparently, they have won many awards and I can definitely see why!

The restaurant has a very modern, chic, chill/relaxing atmosphere with large tables and comfortable chairs. It also appears to be a very popular place among Japanese tourists.

The food is very much a fusion of Mediterranean-American cuisine, oriented toward family-style (sharing) dishes, and it has a large variety of wine and cocktails from which to select.

Along with valet-only service, the servers are highly customer-oriented, with a few who speak Japanese. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to our requests.

I would not consider this a reasonable price restaurant, as it’s pretty pricey, but for Italian and Spanish fusion, it’s one of the few places in Hawaii to experience this kind of cuisine.

Would I come back? Yes, but for special occasions and for celebrations.

Lobster risotto, Waygu sirloin, Iberico meat, and old fashioned very well prepared.
20 year Tawny was a nice finish.
Food was impeccable and the wait staff was awesome!
Call ahead for reservations and opt in on valet.
Two people, $350…well worth it.
Came Hangry, left full and happy!

This building has changed purpose and ownership a few times. The latest version is very appealing with interesting and eclectic decor (lighting, seating, art). I wanted to love this place because I love small plates that allow you to try lots of things. Although the menu is very large, I only found the seasonal menu to be interesting. The value for price is not great. Our favorite was the pork belly “sushi” which had the shape of it but was totally different. 5-stars. The uni/squid ink pasta was 4-stars. The scallop/fish combo was 3-stars. The basque cheesecake was 4-stars. Service was friendly but seemed stretched thin by 8pm.
