I recently had the pleasure of visiting Riesterer’s Bakery in West Hempstead to indulge in some delightful pastries with my friends before heading out to dinner. I must say, my experience was nothing short of fantastic. Riesterer’s Bakery offers a wide selection of delicious treats, accompanied by an excellent staff, making it a place I highly recommend.

I’ve been going to this bakery since I was a child. It’s nice to have a local bakery still around instead of having to depend on chain food stores. I do have to say that I see a difference in the goods than when I was younger. Inflation has also affected this place. Like all of our other expenditures. Regardless, I still make sure to support this local business.

Tasty! High quality baked goods that make for a perfect treat for yourself, or if you’re feeding an army of 250 wedding guests. They have everything from basic breads, to cakes, muffins, pies, cookies, and cake pops. And they have a HUGE selection of kosher treats as well!

Very disappointed. I called them to ask if they had Pink Macaroons for my baby shower. The assured me they had plenty of pink and to come on over. He also shared if they didn’t have them out, they’d make them. I drove over 45 min from suffolk county to pick them up within the hour. When I got there, the person up front said they only had orange. I told her I called so she went to check and brought out “pink”. They weren’t pink.. it was red. I told her they told me they’d make them and she said no. I bought them because I already drove 45 min there while pregnant and another 45 min back home. I ended up finding another shop and buying them. But this was really not okay on their end as a business. They’re sloppy some are big some are small… in comparison to other shops. Should also work on their customer service. Upset I wasted my money

Update*** today is Saturday morning 11/26/22 why is there mold growing on the top of this already awful pie . We ordered a sweet potato pie for Thanksgiving and it was horrible the color the texture just bad all around. Did they sell us an old pie I feel like notifying the health department

Very nice bakery. I love the service and they have a lot of variety too. There is also a pareve section. The cakes taste great. We’ve been here several times already and will probably be our go to bakery. The breads are nice too.

My nephew’s fiancé had her bridal shower this past weekend. We ordered from Riesterer’s Bakery in West Hempstead, NY. We ordered an assortment of cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, cake pops and a beautiful shower cake. Everything was fresh and very delicious. This is now my go to bakery for yummy cookies and cakes. The staff was very nice and helpful. Thank you to Riesterer’s Bakery and to Marisa M. for recommending this fantastic bakery.

First off i am greeted by this white old unfriendly lady like in her 60s and then she rushes me saying to hurry buying that she will close soon then i ask the price for a pony cake and she tells me its 200-300 $ for a pony cake medium size i found it ridiculously expensive . I presently was there and bought a chocolate mouse cake and all kinds of donuts and danish let me tell you the cake was also old and hard tasted stale and just flavorless the donuts to and when i thought maybe the danish will

Fruit tarts used dried fruits instead of fresh because the tarts have likely been there for months. It was way too sweet
