Small restaurant but wonderful atmosphere, allows for good conversation in an intimate setting. Sharing plates are a novel and fun idea. All good items were beautifully presented and tasty. Nice view looking over the city. Reservations are recommended since it is a small restaurant. Absolutely worth it, we will be back!

Perfect spot for a galentines dinner in Harrisonburg! Everything from the host to our dessert was phenomenal.

Our server, Ivy, was fantastic. She knew exactly what food and drinks to recommend, knew how frequently to pop in and check on us, and was a delight to be around. Make this girl CEO or something like that.

We ordered the crispy pork belly, crab cakes, brussel sprouts, charcuterie board, baguette & Brie, and the apple fritters and absolutely everything was delicious. Our cocktails were great (and we had a few!) and our dessert drinks were delicious as well.

For drinks we ordered Monsters & Robots, Pomicide, Electric Funeral, a raspberry cider on tap, My Name is Mud, and Oogie Boogie Man. All of our cocktails were made perfectly!

The food was not good at all. We had the meatballs, crab cakes, tomato basil bisque soup, and deviled eggs. The tomato soup tasted like marinara sauce. The crab cakes were not well made. And everything else was not seasoned. Also, our server was not very attentive. It took him 10 minutes before he even came to the table to offer us waters. While every table around us was well attended to.

Positives- the atmosphere is appealing and the drink menu is nice

I’m glad Harrisonburg is getting better options than just chains and such but wow, this food fell so short. The crabcakes were soggy with oil, the mussels were filled with sand, the meatballs had barely any seasoning in the meatball itself. The tuna tartar is probably the best thing we had and that was just okay. The pineapple ratio was too much and overpowered the fish. Service was decent, you could tell the bartender was over it but still at least checked on us so that’s a positive. All in all it’s a great view and a decent attempt at an elevated menu, lots of work to be done though.

being a chef myself, it’s not every day that i find a good meal worth writing about. ridge room really outdid themselves, though. me & my boyfriend got the crispy potatoes as an app, braised beef ragu & chicken duo for our entrees, & seasonal sorbet/blood orange posset for dessert, along w a few stunning cocktails. everything was well seasoned, well plated + outstanding flavor. very impressed. already plan to bring my mom to this little gem will be back. thank you to our server too. keep up the good work, chefs

p.s – THANK YOU for providing soooo many gluten free options. i have a gluten allergy & felt so seen

I think this gem is underrated. Great views and tasty bites. Lots of GF options. The cocktails are tasty and there’s a good wine selection. I would say this is best suited for a duo with lots of plate sharing like tapas style. The plates are small but appropriately priced. I did not wait for any plate

For people commenting about racial profiling i was mostly surrounded by diverse races so not sure what occurred for that person

We stopped at the hotel for an overnight stay. Originally planned to get takeout and eat it in one of the common areas (or even our room). However, the front desk told us about this rooftop bar with shareable plates and we figured – why not! The service was great. The vibe was chill. The views and food sensational. An unexpected spot with fresh food and original plates and a carefully curated wine/booze list to boot. You can tell locals come here on the regular – not just hotel guests!

Catch this place for sunset and you won’t be disappointed! We had cocktails on a Saturday around 4pm to beat the rush and catch the view- it probably is the highest elevation dining you can get and overlooks the east side of Harrisonburg. The food is thoughtful and flavorful – will recommend the Brussel sprouts, deviled eggs and the tartare.
But we went for the cocktails- the old fashioned, spiritual healing, and Paint it black, were the chosen drinks and they did not disappoint and were fun to try new concoctions
Old fashioned – 7/10
Spiritual Healing – 7/10
Paint it Black – 4/10

The crab cakes were good. Drinks fine. Brussel sprouts ok.
Service was ok but those with me described as robotic.
Nice atmosphere on the top floor inside the Hyatt place.

Traveling through Harrisonburg & found this gem. We sat outside on the terrace & it was lovely. We met our server Madeline who turned out to be amazing & made our dining experience extra special. We started with the deviled eggs & then I had the crab cakes & my husband had the Jambalaya. We loved both. Definitely recommend.
