His energy and professionalism kept us entertained and glasses full. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Well done!! We will definitely be back when we visit Seattle!!

Had a fantastic time at Rider with my good friends. The food and dining room left a lasting impression on me. The food was delicious! The menu had a good mix of options, from seafood to meat dishes, and everything was expertly prepared. The drinks are interesting and tasty.

This gem was just across the street from my hotel. Sat at the bar for a couple of drinks and dinner. Patrick & Chris were welcoming and charming. Had the Ceasar salad and the smoked fish dip, both were delicious and my cocktails were superb. I will definitely be back!

I’ve walked by this restaurant countless times. You can smell the wood fire from the street. Once inside, the atmosphere is somewhat sterile and simple. The amazing smell makes up for the lack of ambiance created by decor and staff. The staff seamed inexperienced and fell short of the included 20% gratuity. I witnessed the cook eating while cooking food, and I’d normally deduct 5% of the tip for this questionable practice. The food itself was disappointing. I had their burger and it lacked any hint of actually being grilled on an open fire and the meat was overcompensated by onion. My wife enjoyed the simple and fresh Avocado toast. I would have found the toast overpriced, but it was a win versus the burger. I personally will continue to choose capital grille for the food this restaurant should be providing- based on price- they seem to be completely unaware of the competition. You”d have a more flame broiled burger at Dairy Queen for $3 versus $22. I received a general response from the owner. My message to him/her. I had the right to refuse payment based on the fact that the cooks were eating in the kitchen while making food. This was common sense long before the pandemic.

Stayed at Hotel Theodore for 2 nights in August and used Rider for drinks each evening. Good selection of beers – Hazy IPA and local Pale were both very nice. Great service and really nice atmosphere at the bar chatting with other patrons. Didn’t eat here but the food coming out looked good.

So I went there Wednesday night May 31st with some friends and the host or manager or whoever she was, was incredibly rude to me and my friends. First off she dresses very provocative, like She was wearing a plaid skirt that barely covered anything! And a skin tight shirt that left nothing to the imagination. This isn’t some Instagram photo shoot. Second of all she was incredibly rude with her snide attitude that fooled no one with her fake niceness. The late night menu isn’t terrible but it’s nothing great either. The only thing that prevented us from walking out was the drinks. They are very good! Service is terrible though as everyone from the manager to the server was rude, almost like they didn’t want our business. Take your night cap somewhere else as you’ll just be treated rudely and as if they want you gone right away. Plenty of late nights spots that actually want your business. Avoid Rider and the managers at all costs.

It looked like a nice bar after a movie session in AMC across the street. Beware of 20% service charge included in the check by default so no motivation for the stuff to work hard, they’ll get tips either way.

Casual if a little loud, Rider blew us away with amazing food and stellar service. We overheard that they were a server short (April 29, 2023) but you would not have known from our experience. Shout out to Adam, he rocked and he rolled and he and his co workers were attentive and efficient. Great crab cakes, great burgers, great brownie dessert. We will be back.
