This place is really like a 3 1/2 star. The food was good. The service was annoying. The girls that work there speak enough English but they talk really low. You can’t hear them. They hardly look you in the eye and after you spend your hard earned money there, they don’t even say “thank you”. They just walk away. Their coffee situation is lame. At least the tables were clean. I won’t be back.

The papa ranchera and brisket tacos were very tasty. The flour tortillas are homemade and made on the spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Many different options of tacos to select from.

They will serve you old food, tried to give me left over which was barely anything in a bin you could tell had been sitting there for hours. I denied the food. Poor quality, then when I said nevermind I don’t want that because it looked scrappy I got a bad attitude from server. Poor customer service. I believe it’s good business and common sense to serve quality food if you own a restaurant, if it’s on the menu and you’re offering it throughout the day make sure it’s fresh and be proud of what you’re serving.

Stopped here for a bowl of caldo de res. I asked them for avocados for the soup. Which they charged me for. I never got them. So I asked for them and they say I never paid for them even though I had the receipt, so i paid another $2 for the avocado. Second, the beef for the soup was so tough and undercooked I could not even chew let alone cut it with a knife. Finally, the sides for the soup. Cilantro, jalapeños, onions. Completely rancid!! Photo below should tell the rest. Unfortunately, I would not return and I would caution anyone as well.

Ordered flautas, no lettuce or tomato no beans extra rice for 7.99 my total was 10$. Seems janky. Should have checked my order before I left because I got the vibe they’d screw it all up, and they did. Kind of unfortunate, they’re the closest place to my work.

Enchiladas tasted and smelled like a dirty old dish towel and a hint of sour. Also the rice was not fully cooked. I feel like throwing it up not worth $10.37 .

Great homemade food for a great price! Their barbacoa family combo was perfect. It’s a pound of barbacoa, 1 pint of rice and beans, a pint of fresh Pico and 10 tortillas(corn or flour). This fed my family of 6 plus we got a 32oz container of menudo. My mother loved it’s flavor! They sell $2 two item tacos too.
