We were visiting Franklin, NC for the weekend and stopped here for lunch, and wow what a good choice. I’m pregnant and have been extremely picky lately. The food was delicious. My husband ordered 3 tacos and the tongue taco ended up being the standout. It was incredibly tender. I expected it to be chewy, but it wasn’t at all. Highly recommend.
I went with the regular chicken burrito, which was also perfect. They packed it with lettuce, cheese, cream, rice and bean, full of flavor. Both plates came with salsa verde, but I like more spice, so I stole some of his habanero salsa. Excellent combo. There’s plenty of parking and lots of space inside but since it was sunny, we grabbed a picnic bench outside. If we’re ever passing through Franklin again, we’d definitely stop here! Plus, there’s an ice cream shop right next door which is a big bonus.

Their tacos are amazing! I had a friend recommend them over 5 years ago and they’re still really good. Don’t be afraid to try the tongue or cheek tacos because they are super tender and juicy. The al pastor are also really good too.

Clever idea parking the food truck next to the shop. We stopped by a couple times after half day hikes to get lunch to go. Had a variety of Tacos and Nachos. Everything was fresh and delicious. As it is fresh made, it can take a bit to prepare especially if they are busy, if you remember call in the order ahead of time.

Food is always good. They tend to be a bit understaffed but the staff is always helpful and friendly. If you like Taco Bell, don’t visit here. They tend to offer real authentic Mexican food. Or as close to it as I’ve ever had! Love it.
