We’ve been to the Lighthouse Local a handful of times now and have enjoyed each visit. We love the area with all local small business gifts- such as cute addition. They made our wedding cake and we’ve received so many compliments on how tasty it was. So many people have dry wedding cake and ours was far from that. They made us cookie dough with chocolate ganache and a lemon raspberry, with mini cannolis and whoopie pies for other desserts. We were so impressed from the very start with being able to pick anything we could have imagined and them making it come to life. 10/10 recommend. Even if they don’t make your wedding cake, stop in for coffee, donuts, scones and more.

There were no dairy free breakfast sandwich options for me unfortunately, which made it really hard for this to be a repeatable place as a coffee shop but the bakery looked amazing. It was adorable and the store was really cute. The staff was super nice when we asked about recommendations and we had a good chat about the different donut flavors. Coffee was pretty good, nothing super memorable but tasty. It definitely seems more like a place to order catering or speciality than go for coffee.

The Lighthouse Local is mostly a bakery with a gift shop. They do offer a few other items, such as quiche and breakfast sandwiches. The absolute winners, however, were the scones! We tried the onion & sour cream, the loaded baked potato, the garlic onion, and the Italian meats. All of these scones were delicious. My wife’s favorite was the loaded baked potato, and my favorite was the Italian meats. They were buttery, flavorful, and not dry at all. We also tried the maple coffee cake which was also very good.

This was a great place for a casual coffee business meeting and I didn’t realize how much this Lighthouse Local had to offer! As an avid iced coffee lover I did enjoy a flavorful but not overpowering coffee, and the breakfast sandwich with ham, egg and cheese was tasty and very filling! The impressive bakery case had creative donuts, scones, cookies and more. I plan to come back for lunch to try their June featured special Buffalo Chicken Salad Wrap! Local vendors were featured throughout the Lighthouse, a great place for finding that unique item for someone special or just for you. A welcoming and bright environment, easy to get to just minutes away from Whole Foods and Trader Joes. The staff was friendly and efficient. If you haven’t stopped by this local business yet, you are truly in for a treat!

I recently ordered a specialty cake from Lighthouse for my niece’s graduation, and they absolutely nailed it! I had a very specific vision, and they brought it to life perfectly — even better than I imagined. I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a cake snob and love a cake that’s not just fun to look at, but also tastes amazing. In the past, I’ve ordered beautiful cakes from other bakeries, but they always fell short on flavor. Lighthouse, though, delivered both — the cake was stunning and delicious. I honestly can’t wait for my next celebration so I have a reason to order from them again!

My husband and I chose Bird Food Baking Co to do the desserts for our wedding this past weekend. We got a bunch of donuts, cupcakes and our wedding cake from Trina and her team with Bird Food Baking Co. The desserts were stunning – I was so excited as soon as I saw them and couldn’t wait to try them. Trina and team made it so easy to order and pickup, and helped a ton in terms of quantity and menu selection. Her creativity is next level and these desserts were incredible – they tasted amazing. We had so many people asking how they could get more and why we didn’t order more! We ordered cupcakes, donuts and cake. They tasted even better than they looked. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I love to come in here. Love their chicken pot pie, their donuts, cookies, everything tastes amazing! The worker on the weekday was so snarky and rude I won’t be back. Will miss the good food but I was so polite. Someone asked her where the forks were and she said “right in front of you” and I asked about the flavors of coffee and I felt like everything I asked inconvenienced her. Too bad! Good luck selling your good food with that customer service
