Can’t rate it horrible cause love the vibe and staff is very nice but food is a yikes! Went with a group of people and I’ve been here multiple times in the past 3 years and I’ve never had a complaint I’ve really liked this place and always talked highly of it to people and so maybe it was just a bad night but I went the other day and someone got fish and chips and gave me the fish and it was two little pieces of fish and the meal cost like 20 bucks! It was horribly made in a cheap batter I feel it could be way higher quality especially for this price. Everyone who got a meal with fries barely got anything. It wasn’t even an appetizer worth of fries it was so sad. Portions seem to have gotten smaller and the quality seems poor with some of the food. Very sad to see because it’s a good looking restaurant and could have so much potential!!! Also for just 3 dollars more you could get an impossible patty when the meal already cost regularly like 18 bucks I mean come on that’s wild. Definitely taking advantage of people! Very sad!

Rico’s is hands down my favorite bar in Pullman. It’s a traditional Irish-themed pub, and you can tell they hold themselves to that standard. The place has an incredible history, and they’ve done their best to keep it as authentic as possible.
My favorite nights are Wednesdays- 21% off women’s drinks and half-off wine bottles make it the perfect midweek spot. Beyond the deals, it’s the atmosphere that keeps me coming back. There’s pool, darts, a fireplace for cozy nights, live jazz on occasion, open mic nights, trivia, painting nights, and even holiday-themed menus.
The food is consistently amazing, and what really stands out is the staff. Tawny, the manager and owner, clearly takes great pride in Rico’s, and it shows. The team has a great relationship with each other and with their customers, creating a welcoming, community vibe. It’s not just a bar to me. It is a place full of memories, and one I’ll always treasure.

Great option to visit a local and traditional place. They being in Pullman since 1909.
Local is beautifully decorated with wood floors, wood walls, books and antique artifacts. Ambiance is calm and kind of elegant because the low light.
They offer a great beverages menu and the food is tasty and fresh. I had the fish and chips; the fish was perfect, so crunchy outside and soft inside.
Definitely recommended if you are visiting Pullman.

My favorite bar of all time. Play pool, perfect atmosphere to catch up with a friend. Live music here is a vibe. Trivia on Tuesdays.
The food is great. The drinks are well balanced and reasonably priced. It’s decorated with beautiful old wood with an academia meets jazz atmosphere. It’s almost always busy with good reason. Parking is hard to get.
This is a bar, so it’s not kid friendly. The building is old, and not very accessible.

Absolutely delicious food. Home made “crisps” (potato chips) that were fabulous. Delicious salad and reuben. Great old pub atmosphere. Used to hang out here in college, but it’s even better as an adult!

My first time here was in 1971 and it was remodelled maybe 10 years before that and it’s hasn’t changed. Well, the band with Dr Klemgard on the wash tube bass is long gone. Be sure to try the chips, order the large bowl!

Update: While I had a terrible experience, my kid went to Rico’s with his friend after school yesterday and thought the service and food were amazing, so I’ve added a star to reflect that. He had a Philly cheese steak and some mocktails, all of which he thought were delicious, and thought the server was very friendly. I will maybe give Rico’s another try some time, perhaps on a quieter day than when I initially went.
Original post: We went here a few months ago. It took two hours for our food to arrive, and it only arrived after I sought out a server (not ours) to inquire about it. Since it was our first time there, I was unaware that I could simply fetch my own coffee and was not told I could do that, so I sat around for an hour before I could ask our server, who I had to flag down because they were consistently ignoring our table, about the coffee. I understood that it was rather busy, so I waited a while (two hours) before asking for our meals.
When the food did show up, everything was cold, so I assume it had been forgotten about and left sitting around by our server, who showed up only once in that two hour time span to bring us water. That particular server didn’t even bother to bring us our food in the end. We didn’t end up finishing our meal because it tasted old.
I’m only giving this review an extra star because the server who ended up bringing us our meals and comping part of the ticket was incredibly polite and helpful.
The atmosphere wasn’t for us, but I think it would be an enjoyable place for college students who want a quick drink at the bar and enjoy a louder, more crowded setting.
