First, let me say thank you for being open during the hurricane! The staff was friendly and inviting. Ordered the fried raviolis (phenomenal) and the works pizza. The pizza was perfectly cooked. Great flavor. The ranch was great too! And don’t miss the compliment on the toilet.

We were skeptical at first BUT now we wish we would have found this place earlier in our stay! This privately owned establishment did not disappoint!! Our waitress, Ice was terrific! Definitely recommend to any one! The pizza was huge and we had a crowd and still took pizza home!

Having arrived here in 2018 from NY, I’ve been lamenting that there wasn’t decent pizza in Florida, let alone Sarasota. Then I discovered Rico’s in Gulf Gate I saw an article in the Times Herald saying that Rico’s was one of the 20 top pizza places in the Country, let alone Florida. Needless to say I was quite skeptical.

Our company is a neighbor to Rico’s for years now. We love love love their large sausage pizza w onions and peppers. Someone told me this tiny little pizza shop is ranked #7 in the entire country of USA!! Im not surprised because they’ve been around a long time, they hand toss crust for each pizza and it always turns out great. We send everyone over there to get pizza and they’ve never disappointed. We love you Rico’s!!!!

Strongly recommend the Greek Pizza. Took off the kalamata olives & put green olives on it instead & it was so good! Ordered online but forgot to add something to the order & when I called into add it they were super nice on the phone & very diligent. Had it delivered in a timely matter & it was just an all around great experience. Everytime I come to Siesta, we will definitely order from Rico’s! p.s. also get the Calamari!
