Rico Rico Bakery is a great little spot with plenty of parking, and even a food truck on site where you can order pinchos and burgers (though I’m not sure of their hours). As soon as you arrive, you can tell the place is very clean. They have a couple of tables inside and outside where you can sit and eat. Their bakery selection is reasonable, and they offer espresso coffee. You can also order hot food that’s made fresh, like white rice, yellow rice, chicken, and whatever they have available for the day.

We went during breakfast time, and everything we tried was very good. Their harina de maíz is delicious, and the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was also really tasty. The only thing I wasn’t too crazy about was the portion size on the scrambled eggs. I ordered the Despierta PR, and the serving was a bit small, good to know ahead of time if you like a bigger breakfast.

Overall, the place is small and can feel a little tight inside, so it might not be ideal for a big group. It’s better suited for 2–4 people at a table. We ended up grabbing our food to go because it gets crowded quickly. I don’t think the inside could hold more than around 10 people comfortably, but the food is definitely worth it.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in, which made the experience even better.

Great food, great service just a cozy little spot with limited seating. I would definitely go back!

I just got this guava pastry from the new location on Hinson ave. It has been in the box for 20-30. When i went to eat it, completely cold almost frozen. Not fresh whatsoever. I understand this is supposed to be room temperature but cold almost frozen is unacceptable.
Never going back!

The food is good. But the service is extremely slow, and unprofessional. The customer service needs a lot of work. Maybe better training on how to deal with clients and speed in the kitchen could help. We waited so long for our breakfast that two employees took their breaks while we were still waiting. Coffee came after we finished our breakfast and the cornmeal never came. I was told that I could take it home. Very disappointing!

Wow. I was there and for 15 minutes I was being ignored. Then when they finally acknowledged I was there. They tell me my order will be ready shortly only to be ignored for another 10 minutes. Then when they finally acknowledged me again they tell me that I was in the wrong store. Funny thing is the place didn’t seem very busy. You try to spend money within your own community and those very people are the ones who treat you like crap. I’ll never walk into that place again unless it’s for a DoorDash delivery.. other than that I will never spend a dollar in this place!!! Very disappointing

Really enjoyed my capuchino. Estaba rico rico. Food was pretty good and price affordable. La empanadilla de pizza estaba riquísima. Service was on point. Sofia was very welcoming and attentive. Place a bit small. But other than that atmosphere was very nice.

I’ve had their bakery goods in the past. They are exceptional! Today I went for lunch. I will be going for lunch there regularly! I had the mortadella sandwich which is a panini-baked sandwich like a Cuban, but with mortadella, mayonnaise lettuce and tomato. The mortadella meat was the best I have ever had. They do not have a fountain drink machine. They only have cans and bottles. So I brought my own water (two bottles) because I tend to drink quite a bit.
