The chicken was delish, some pieces were a little dry but overall it was amazing! The sides were great, we got the mashed potatoes and gravy and the Mac and cheese were both good. This place knows their way around a chicken tender. We ordered to-go and it was about a 10 minute drive back to be able to eat. Incredibly, everything was still delectably crispy and delicious. The chicken itself is still juicy and delicious and the breading was perfectly crispy and not burnt. Mac and cheese and green beans were a perfect compliment.

Rick’s has been consistent with an excellent consistent product. Their Mac n cheese is per. The macaroni is the perfect El dented. The mushrooms are crispy. Not oily. Chicken oh yum!!!!! Great neighborhood fried chicken when you have the craving. Super fresh and made to order. There’s a sign that says to call in your order for faster service. Definitely recommended to call it in. A 3-piece dark meat chicken only order was about $5, definitely well priced for the amount of food.

Went to Ricks Crispy Chicken today and I am totally satisfied. Excellent Chicken, mash potatoes n gravy, fried mushrooms are amazing and the corn fritters omg. My new favorite place, but we should keep it a secret as we don’t want it too busy when going for our visit right. Its on the way of a pleasant drive to Chillicothe IL park for a nice picnic.
