Enjoyed lunch here today. The beef plate has shredded brisket, not sliced. The mild sauce has a better flavor than the hotter sauce. Fruit tea was good. The inside of restaurant was very clean. Staff was courteous. Nice place to eat.

Always good, but this morning my husband orders an American wrap with pulled chicken and with mild sauce for me. Came home with wrong order, but Rick’s fixed that today. Wonderful food, wonderful staff, so happy to be a loyal customer!!

I recently picked up the Barbecue meal with meat, baked beans, potato salad and it comes with your buns too. I’m extremely particular about the taste of my food and I was very disappointed with my meal!! The meat was good, but not great, the baked beans tasted like they had heated up a can of the pork and beans and didn’t add much to them. They still had a little of the plain pork and beans taste and then the potato salad had chunks of potatoes that weren’t completely cooked mixed in with some that had been cooked correctly so you would take a bite and be chewing and then try to bite down and you would have a almost raw potato that you couldn’t chew!!! I’ve ate the meals like this a few years ago and the food was great. So I don’t know if the cook had a bad night or if the quality of the food has just went down that much. I ordered a loaded baked potato from them another night that had to go in the oven because it wasn’t done yet so honestly I’d say if you’re looking for a really great meal then you want to go somewhere else besides the Rick’s Barbecue in Killen, AL.

Great place for good southern BBQ… they never disappoint for pulled pork, chicken or Beef. The baked taters are awesome and the Nachos are loaded just right! To top it off, the staff is always friendly!

I get carry out regularly, and have for years, because it’s so close. I have yet to get a complete order. Like clock work if I don’t check the bag before leaving I get home with missing food that I paid for. Food is good and location is convenient but so frustrating.

The barbecue didn’t have much smoked flavor to it. It was cooked tender. And the sauce what’s more on the vinegar type sauce which I personally I’m not fan of. I had to bake potato potato salad it was good.

The last 2 times I have been to the drive-thru on Florence Blvd, they got my order wrong. Can they not read?! The person taking my order even repeated it back to me correctly. But when I got home with it, the order was not right.
