We got the cheese curd sampler at the recommendation of our server, Tiffany.garlic, white cheddar and pepper jack. We enjoyed them as well as the burger and the italian beef sandwich. I think the italian beef is more chopped up pot roast than italian beef but i thought it was very good. Wasnt fans of the fries or onion rings ,they were just ok. Service was great and freindly. Would definitely visit again if in area. We had come from Springfiel ,mo specifically to see the canoe tree and try this restaurant. Enjoyed the other canoe art in steelville and the osage monument in cuba. 🙂

The food was delicious. We ordered the all you can eat fried catfish and a Big Cheesy burger (1/2 pound patty, BBQ sauce, cheddar and American cheese and two fried jalapeno Mac n cheese balls) to go to take back to our Airbnb to eat. It was about a 20 minute drive back to the house and our food was still delicious and almost as if it was straight out of the kitchen when we got back, so I can only imagine how good it would have been if we had eaten at the restaurant. My wife actually said it might have been the best fish she’s ever had. My burger was pretty close also. We live about 2 1/2 hours away, so unfortunately we can’t go here often, but we will definitely be back next time we are in the area. The prices are pretty decent too.

Me and a friend stopped here on a friday around 1115am for a lunch.
This was about half way home from a float trip on the eleven point river for us.
I have heard good things about this place and another location they have in Sullivan missouri.
We both had a breakfast burger
Both adding swiss cheese
I skipped the bacon on my burger.
I had the 1/2 lb and my buddy 1/4 lb
We also changed the buns to Texas toast.
Kinda made it our own frisco melt.
Audrey our waitress was a fan of Texas toast on sandwiches so when we asked if they had a fisco melt of some nature,I think she knew what we were wanting.
Audrey was on point with the drink refills and the food was served up quick for being lunch time.
The burger was really good and cooked good.
The Texas toast was a great switch and was soft and thick.
The frys were excellent adding some salt.
The mustard,ketchup, salt pepper and napkins are on the table.
The exterior of the building ia nice and their outside patio looks nice to sit at if it wasn’t so hot that day.
The location is easy to get too and parking was easy.
They seemed to be a nice establishment with quick service a d good prices.
We saw a few folks just come in and take to go orders.
Seating inside was nice and they had a few tvs around.
I may just have to take a motorcycle ride out here on a nice 80 degree day soon and sit on that patio and watch the traffic it a bit.

It was clean, not too loud but not too quiet either. The place smelled good! Our waitress was wonderful! The menu has lots of options! My husband and I both got the Western Burger and requested a regular bun instead of Texas toast and then a side of cheese fries. We got an appetizer of the pretzel bites and it was all fantastic!! We will definitely be back! We plan to make a breakfast date over there soon!

Server was excellent! So much personality! Burgers were delicious! However, the coleslaw, not so much, it was so thick and matted with cream that it was hard to eat. Fries weren’t fried long enough for my personal taste. Restaurant was clean, welcoming, but very cold. It was hard to stay through whole meal. On cold days, warmer indoor temps are way more inviting. Would def eat here again…with a coat

We got here on a slow Sunday at 2. Waited a bit for our drinks but not an outrageous amount of time. We added an extra drink on when she got here and it took 15 minutes to arrive after ordering. We waited 30 minutes for our food to arrive and they forgot my food. Everyone who received their food said it was cold (cheese couldn’t even be considered melted) and the burgers tasted unseasoned with the bacon being cold, stale, and tasting of old grease. Everyone else was finished eating by the time my food arrived. My food also arrived cold and my coleslaw was very watery.
We didn’t end up finishing any of our food because it just wasn’t appetizing. Only plus was how good the lemonade was and that they discounted my sandwich by half.

This was my first time going to this place. We were passing through Steelville and decided to stop by for a burger. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss, which was very good. I also ordered onion rings, and got 4. Four whole onion rings for 8 bux. Wasn’t to impressed with that…..
The service was slow. Had to wait on anything we wanted because the girl waiting on us was just not attentive.
Not sure if I would go back or not. A little pricey for what you get IMO.

Absolutely fantastic food! My burger was sublime. Definitely perfectly cooked and hit the spot. Pretty great menu options. Quaint atmosphere, pretty clean. Bathrooms are older but okay. Would recommend.

Wow! St. Louisans traveling through and stopped on a whim. Fountain soda and lemonade were great. Burger was awesome. Onions rings were delicious! BEST BEEF SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Clean restaurant, friendly staff, prompt service. Highly recommend!!!
