I’ve been wanting to try Rich’s Cafe for about a year now, but I never go when they are open until the other day! I had gone with my mom for some much needed mom and son time! The atmosphere as soon as you walk in, even in the morning, was so welcoming, and of course, we were greeted with a welcoming hello! I have to say I love trying places like Rich’s. The small town diner esqe locations always have their own unique charm, and our visit was nothing short of that! We aren’t big breakfast folk! But when I tell you I enjoyed every part of my meal and then some! The portion size was fantastic, and I had enough to take home for later! The prices were so reasonable and worth every penny that we got! I was impressed by our server Charlie she was a wonderful and gracious waitress who took care of us and about 15 other people at the time but didn’t miss one beat! Very attentive, and before you could ask for anything, she just had it ready for you! I had the country fried steak smothered in gravy with eggs and home fries. I am not a fan of country fried steak, but today I wanted to give it a try and it was good, but I want to try the other items they offer too They have some of the best ham I’ve had in a while! The home fries were good, and the fact they gave us 2 slices of toast per meal was awesome! Most places only give you one slice. I enjoyed my breakfast and will update my review once I catch the lunch rush! And I honestly can’t wait to try the lunch menu!

We were greeted immediately on walking in and chose a table. The waitress took our orders and the food came to your table very fast!

Literally the ultimate old school authentic home dining experience. Food was amazing so was our server AND THE AFFORDABLE PRICING makes it even better. We had to stop here, definitely going to be a necessity every time I come into town. A true “mom and pops” vibe. Cannot wait to come back and visit

The girls working the front were just awesome. They kept it light and fresh very sweet girls, they completed each other. Was so nice seeing them having each other’s backs.

I’ve only been to Rich’s once, and based on how packed the place was I’m sure they serve some great menu items. But the menu is quite large and the food we ordered wasn’t anything special. My partner got the French toast, which was a bit bland. I had the Railroad omelette, which was likewise underwhelming, and at a $10 price point. American cheese, pork sausage, and onions isn’t complex, but when the best part of the omelette is the chopped onions, that’s a tough sell. I’d probably give it another shot, and the service was fine, but there’s a lot to choose from on that menu and they aren’t all winners.

Quintessential small town breakfast diner. Good service, good prices, big portions. There are very few items on the menu over $10. The only negative was that the mashes potatoes are boxed instant mashed potatoes and they were cold when they came out.

Country fried steak with gravy and some rye toast today at Rich’s. The entire size of the country fried steak had a matching layer of potatoes under. It was way too much food, but solid flavors. I couldn’t eat it all.

So anybody local would know that this has just gone under new ownership. It was closed for a little bit of time and has an entire new team. If you know Klem’s Cafe on Wells Street, it has “The best breakfast in town”, (TM). Rich’s is now owned by the same company, so it is now “The best breakfast in town”. And for those who don’t know, they’re to actually different towns. Both are currently using the same menu and the owner is currently working on bringing back some of the specialty items that were specific to this location. It is not uncommon that a transfer is not easy and sometimes very difficult but they are working their hardest to make sure that is the most comfortable transition for everybody who loves a good breakfast. All and all, it is a very good place for a wonderful breakfast with a small-town feel!
