Yep… We love Richards. Eat it once or twice a month, even have birthday parties there… The process of getting a credit is insane. They send it from some random weird number that the employees nor manager know to inform you of what it is. They also didnt know if it would come from an email or a phone number so my mother spent 40 minutes speaking to someone and trying to find a credit for $10. The Fairfield location has now regularly lost our business for lack of knowledge on Ida’s (the manager) part and for her rudeness. There was zero empathy acknowledging the frustration of the customer who had proof of sending in a picture of her messed up steak hoagie the last time. It seems to me that $9.38 would not have been worth losing a customer over. She could have easily smoothed it over by empathizing and offering some sort of discount for the HUGE inconvenience. Her attitude was basically ” too bad, too sad”. It was terrible customer service. I am disappointed. I will not be bringing my business here to eat or for birthdays anymore. Ida took zero accountability, said nothing was her fault and did not try to assist in the situation whatsoever. If the manager can’t take any accountability for the establishment then please tell me who does? Extremely frustrated and HUNGRY now because this whole ordeal took so long to not even resolve. Would have been way easier to just take care of one little hoagy.

Came in for a steak hoagie and spaghetti with meat sauce. They both came out amazing! Was surprised at how good it was. First time here. Service was friendly, food was coming out to all the tables fast. Only complaint my spaghetti took a while as others got their pizzas lol but was worth the wait. I typically get extra meat sauce because restaurants seem to skimp but this ratio was perfect.

Rarely get Richards because it is so Damn expensive. 2 nothing special steak hoagies was 21$…1 hoagie had thw wrong topping, both had barely any cheese. Not one of em was cut in half. These are all very easy common sense issues.
Pay attention people! Do better!! People are over paying for your products. At least make sure you do a good job making them.

I went here 4 days ago and got food and ended up with food poisoning. I have been here before and never had a problem when eating their steak sandwich. this has only happened while eating the pasta with chicken in it.

The pizza was ok. But steak sandwich was not good!! I gave 2 stars because of the pizza. But it deserves 1 star on the sandwich. I tried going back occasionally because Richard was once known for good food. Now the realization that this was my last time.

Service and restaurant was great, I got the steak hoagie and I truly didn’t care for it, the bread is wonderful but the meat has a old freezer taste and maybe that’s why they put so much onions to cover the taste.

We went here for a birthday party. You order your food up front but they bring it out to you. We love the steak sandwiches! They came out fresh and were perfect. This particular restaurant was clean and has a lot of room. You also refill your own drinks. They have Pepsi products. Overall, it was a good experience.

We love this place! The steak sandwich is awesome. Fresh, hot and steamy goodness. Fresh bread. I get mine with cheese, original sauce, mushrooms,and pickles and onions. My family loves the pizza too. I grew up in Hamilton and when ever we come back to town we stop by.
