This is a semi fast food and restaurant place. Its also a grocery store with a large variety of items. The place is very busy, so the staff taking the orders seem like their patience is running low. Taking that into consideration that they are over worked, this place is still a five stars. We’ll worth the visit.

My family have visited this restaurant many times since it opened more than two decade ago. the food here were always fresh, the service is fast. The waiters were attentive and polite which we appreciated. Its location is in the heart of the busiest shopping center in the Little Saigon district of Sacramento, so there are shops, cafes and supermarkets to explore.

Overall awesome spot. Just be careful sometimes the food left out for sale gets a little stale. If you want the best spring rolls, order them fresh made. Tons of selection, very cheap prices and the banh mi is delicious.

Want to give 3.5 but there’s no option like that. The food its alright, Sandwich was cold however there’s good portions of meat in there. A lots of people were waiting to purchase their sandwich. Good price but if you compare the sandwich from across the street they have much much better bread in my opinion. You can give a try if you want but I don’t recommend this location

The egg rolls are delicious! The sandwiches are good. The bread isn’t as good as at Duc Huong. The parking isn’t great. The online ordering system is awesome! There are two lines when you walk in. Order online and it’ll be better and faster.

Huong Lan Sandwiches serves up an alright vegetarian banh mi with fresh veggies and balanced flavors, though the bread came across as too dry, missing that ideal crusty chew. The size was decent, and scoring two sandwiches for under $11 makes it a solid value play. Restaurant needs some TLC, I’d rate it 3/5 stars

Just got back in town after years, stopped by Hương Lan Sandwiches and they hit me with some serious bánh mì. It was AMAZING — thin and crispy bread, flavor on point, everything just better than I remember. They leveled up like they got a whole new firmware update or something. I’ve been eating here for years and they still surprised me. #Respect #LevelUp

I have been coming here all my life pretty much, they used to be good. I ordered here yesterday, the number 12, no jalapeños, extra meat; I ended up getting food poisoning, so someone is clearly not washing their dirty hands or using bad ingredients. I’m absolutely pissed. I tried to call to speak to a manager and make a complaint, they answered the phone and didn’t even say hello, just left me on hold, probably left the line on as well since I tried calling back and the call kept going straight to voicemail. Their voicemail is completely full and you can’t even leave a message, not like I wanted to leave a message anyways.
Update: Finally managed to reach a manager to make an official complaint. She told me she would do an internal investigation on her end and offered to give me two more sandwiches on the house. I don’t know when I will have the time to go back but I will keep it in mind. Bumping my one star up to a two star for now. Maybe after I pick up those two sandwiches and try them, then maybe I’ll bump up to a three star.

Good place for sandwiches. They make their bread in-house and are fresh. Sandwiches are priced reasonably at about $6 each. Lots of variety to choose from and you can order from the table or counter.
