My husband and I ordered their German pancake, traditional eggs Benedict, and chilaquiles.
The German pancake was the winner of the meal. Large, hot and the perfect vessel for all the butter and lemon and sugar. If you’ve never had a German pancake, you need to try one! May not be something you get all the time, but it’s definitely something you need to try once.
The chilaquiles were very good. The sauce had a nice kick to it and I really appreciated the beans buried underneath all the gooey chips and sauce.
The only disappointment of the meal was the eggs benedict, but that may be a preference thing. There was some sort of herb used in their Hollandaise sauce that I didn’t like.
Besides, the food service was awesome. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We were sat quickly and served quick as well.
The only reason I have 3 starts for atmosphere is we were really squeezed in on the patio. Felt like I was dining with the people at the table next to us, even though we weren’t.
The staff was attentive without being overbearing, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with that classic breakfast buzz that adds to the charm.
I can definitely see why there’s always a line out the door it’s 100% worth the wait. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Richard Walker’s Pancake House is a must-try. Easily one of the best breakfast spots around.
Service good but as a paying customer it was hard to see a street bum get free food to get him to go away and I couldn’t simply get hashbrowns added without an extra cost. I just didn’t know pancakes included hashbrowns and the lesser English muffin did not! Nothing said either!
Made zero sense mathematically yes? The one paying for food to support the place.
Money grabs everywhere now and lesser service to the paying.
Plus look at how much butter and peanut butter I got and this was after I spread what was needed, a waste!
3.5 is best to give because.
