RiceString Noodle Shack is a hidden gem! Free parking is a big plus, and the food is truly authentic Cambodian cuisine. The servers were warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

The Phnom Penh noodle is a must-order — it’s clearly their most popular dish for a reason. So flavorful, comforting, and absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Cambodian food with great service. I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing Cambodian noodles with such good flavor! The Jaqui (Chinese donuts) were warm and fresh. I love the coconut connection drink too with chia seeds!

I get half rice noodles and half egg noodles with soup on the side. All the staff are so nice as well!! Love supporting Khmer owned businesses!

I give a high rate for this restaurant. The #1 is authentic Cambodian noodle. It can come with soup or dried. If you order dried noodles, it comes with a big pork bone onside. This one is pretty good and the big pork bone is nice too. Student noodle is dried small noodles. I am just okay with this because I don’t like food too oily. It tastes good if you don’t mind it is too oily…

This Cambodian restaurant is the ultimate comfort food destination. They have homey dishes like Hainanese chicken, BBQ beef skewers, and crispy eggrolls. I love how each entree is accompanied by a nourishing broth on the side. Coupled with the sea cream iced tea was a heavenly treat.

Man this place is really good. Everything here has so much flavor. Really love the thai tea here not to sweet or bland. I got the beef stick man that’s freaking delicious. Everything is spot on my new favorite spot. Tried the egg rolls and Cambodian fried rice. The Cambodian fried rice is a must try. Anybody in the area should really try this place out.

Wow this was a great place to eat! This was my first time trying Cambodian food. It reminds be of Vietnamese and Chinese food. They even have some dishes that you would find from other cuisines like Hainan Chicken, spring rolls or egg rolls for example. I only got a chance to try this place because my friend recommended me to it. The staff seemed laid back and was quite friendly.

We had the Phnom Penh House special. It was so good, you get to choose the noodle that you want and it came with a beef broth soup with bone and marrow in it. Would come back for just this alone. We also tried the Hainan Chicken, the Loat Cha, which was very tasty as well. Their Beef screwers are really good! We were debating to get the 3 with rice or the appetizer with 5. Get the 5!

There is plenty of parking and a good amount of seating inside. The decor was cool, and overall we had a great experience. There are high chairs in case you have a kid that needs one. When we went there was also a drink special, so look out for those as well. Will definitely be back if we come back into the area! Until then !

Had a wonderful time here for dinner! Staff were super kind and provided great service. The food and drinks were delicious and at a great price for the amount of food given per dish. There’s also a great happy hour deal applicable to drinks and appetizers. Will definitely come back!

First time trying Cambodian food. Unfortunately, our first mistake was not asking the server for recommendations. Reading the great reviews and rating makes me feel bad with my 3 stars but take this from someone with fresh take on these meals.

1. Seafood noodle soup, dry, with bone soup on the side. Half and half small/thin rice and egg noodles. The noodles were overcooked, the extra soft noodles just didn’t bode well with me. Regretted getting seafood instead of beef and meatballs as my initial choice. Anyway, the seafood came with shrimps, 1 mussle, small piece of squid and scallop, slices of fish cake, and 3 whole pieces of imitation crab. The soup was okay, not too rich.

2. Me ka tang – pan fried noodles with beef and veggies. Again, extra soft noodles. Maybe that’s normal, but just not for us.

3. Bai mon bowl – rice topped with veggies and chicken, and an egg. I didn’t try this but was told it was okay, not something she’ll order again.

The staff were friendly and place was packed so we probably just didn’t order the good stuff.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve been to a Cambodian style restaurant. One of my friends told me to check this place out, and I’m glad that I did. It was nice to be able to order some of the homestyle food that I had growing up. We ordered the beef sticks with rice, Loat cha – an udon stir fried dish, and Phnom Penh House Special noodles (dry). All the dishes were great! The beef sticks had the nice grilled flavor to it, and the meat quality was great.  The Phnom Penh noodles had great flavor to it. The stir-fried noodles were good, and they even had the old-school hot sauce (not sirircha) that I grew up using. The servers were super polite and also made sure that we had everything we needed.
