The food was good; the phad thai was on the sweet side and the coconut prawns were great. Service should be better. I asked for an appetizer to come out with my entre but they brought it early. They took my order for pineapple fried rice they didn’t ask for the spice level and it came too us too spicy to eat.

Have had lunch here twice before and the food has been excellent as was this time as well.
The place was empty today at 2. It closes at 3 but had time for lunch.
Service was not great but since they close at 3 I guess they were wanting a break, I can get that.
I won’t be coming in at 2 again.
Ever dish Ive had here is delicious.
I like Spicy but if you don’t make sure you tell them or you’ll feel the heat.
We ordered Pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup with Chicken, a side of Jasmine Rice, a Diet Coke and Hot Tea. Bill was $50.

Good food and excellent service. The lady in charge initially told us to sit at one table, but when our parents said it was cold and requested another table, she immediately set up a new one with a pleasant smile. All the dishes tasted good, and the spice level was just the way we asked

Very satisfied

Visited here on a Saturday.
August 5, 2023.

Food were tasty, and thankful to the staff for following our request to separate the eggs when cooking my food (for anaphylactic allergy reasons).

Ordered curry and peanut sauce noodles. Both were flavorful!

Great atmosphere, unfortunately I was not able to take photos.
I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m in the area again.

This is the best Thai restaurant in lake Stevens. The food is always the greatest in taste and appearance and the customer service is amazing. Love that we have this restaurant in our local area to enjoy.

this is a tough one to rate. the first time here i got shrimp pad thai. the noodles were under cooked so i returned it for another dish. the second dish the noodles and flavor were really good my only complaint would be half of the shrimp were over cooked.

second time here i got the crispy garlic chicken. it was good but a couple pieces were not good and the rice was over cooked.

i rated the atmosphere a zero because i have never sat down to eat here because every time i come they tell me i have to take it to go. it’s really strange actually.

the hours listed on the front door are confusing. apparently they close mon-friday for a couple hours so one of the ladies can pick up her kid from school? this is what i heard not sure if it’s true or why this is an issue.

the price is average i suppose compared to teriyaki or going through a drive through these days. about $21 a plate which i find a bit over priced bc i dont feel like the proportions are big.the food is inconsistent which is really too bad because it could be rated a 4.5 restaurant if they can make their food good every time.

Rice Up Thai Cuisine is a hidden gem in Lake Stevens! I ordered the chicken fried rice, and it was one of the best I have had. It was packed with flavor, served steaming hot, and the portion size was just right for the price. The vegetables were fresh and added the perfect balance to the dish. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. If you are looking for delicious Thai food that is both satisfying and affordable, this is the place to go. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

I’ve been going here since it opened. Today was the last straw. The price has skyrocketed and the serving size is less than half what it used to be, and the food was just okay. $50 for puny serving sizes. Done with this place.
I’m adding pictures after I post this review that will include a small apple I had for scale. $50 for the tiny bit of food. That’s a joke.

Surprising! I have been to Thailand a few times and this is pretty good stuff. When I ordered 5 star spicy this was absolutely and authentic Thailand 5 star spicy. I have a very heavy tolerance of spicy food and this made me sweat so well done. There are a few odd items on the menu geared more towards the Western crowd that I myself probably wouldn’t try, but their other dishes are legit. The inside is clean looking and you have a tastefully direct view into the kitchen, so there is the sound of woks and chopping, so dont come here looking for a quiet bite. The only downsides I can see so far is maybe the portions are on the small side, though I did leave satisfied, and it is pricey but all Thai food tends to be.

One of the only good places in Lake Stevens. (This is a location based review, meaning I’m reviewing This restaurant in comparison to the other food I’ve eaten in the general area. Simply because the review would be really skewed if I went off all the Thai food I’ve ever had- but I will include that opinion at the end if interested. )

I love this place and eat from here a lot. My personal favorite is the Yellow Curry but I have also tried the Green Curry, Panang Curry, and Sweet and Sour Tofu. I was told that all of their curries are vegan as long as you choose tofu or veggie as the “protein” option of course. The spice levels are pretty accurate as well. I normally order a 4, maybe a 3 sometimes.

The curries are delicious and cozy options. My only nitpick is that the portion sizes are small for the price and they don’t give you a lot of tofu. I’ve noticed it’s more filler items like onion than tofu. You can order extra tofu but in my opinion they do not give enough at a baseline. I also opt to order the soft tofu rather than leaving it as the default fried, both because I am unsure if it is GF and because I don’t like the texture. I actually prefer the soft tofu.

The Sweet and Sour Tofu runs into the same problem where it’s not enough tofu for the price and I find myself left with more filler than anything else. The flavor of the sweet and sour itself though is good. 4/5.

For comparison, Bai Tong Thai in Issaquah is a 5/5 for me. So I place this at a 4 for the reasons listed above. (One of the only good options around me, good vegan options, and consistent!)

If i were to compare it to other places out of state I’d drop it to a 3. However, I do love this place and order a lot!! And will continue to. I love the extensive vegan options. I just wish the portion sizes were bigger or that it was cheaper so I could eat it more often.
