Today I decided to try orange chicken and it was amazing. Loved the texture and flavor. I ordered pickup and enjoyed about an hour later. The chicken was still slightly crispy , however when I order again I believe I will dine in to get the full crisp.

I would drive across town to patronize this Mom&Pop small restaurant. I had built somewhat of a rapport with Jeannie. She was always nice, but very talkative. I was a regular customer until a week when I ordered a pick up of my usual LoMein Combo Dinner, along with a dinner for my daughter. When I got back home to have dinner; the noodles were not LoMein noodles. The noodles were spaghetti noodles, which threw off the taste of my meal. My meal looked nothing like the photo on the menu. Nor of the meals I’d bought on times past. There was hardly any meat; one piece of shrimp, the chicken and steak pieces were very small and tough. I called back to the restaurant and spoke with Jeannie and asked if the restaurant had changed the LoMein noodles. She completely blew me off, didn’t listen, made excuses and hung up the phone. If the restaurant wasn’t so from my house; I would have definitely returned the food for a refund. Jeannie didn’t apologize or say anything to fix the problem.
This was not a good practice or way to do business. For this reason, I will never step foot in Rice Pot again.

The food was great and very generous lunch portion. We had the sesame chicken and the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice..both tasted delicious. I highly recommend for a quick and tasty lunch stop.

We came for lunch and it was pretty good. The portions for the lunch special are very generous for the price. Sesame chicken for $7! In addition, the customer service was good as well. It’s a small business so we will definitely be back to support
