You better be hungry if you order the 2+2+2. The pancakes are huge and delicious, eggs cooked to order and choice of meat. Coffee was good too. Definitely a typical family style restaurant, clean and friendly. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

Always delicious food served hot and portions are generous! I have always have friendly, prompt service. The menu offers a wide variety of food choices from breakfast to seafood. I’m not able to eat them for dietary reasons, but my husband loves the homemade soups! And if you like pie, they offer a lovely selection of pies for dessert. Great place to eat!

I took my girlfriend here to eat since I have not been there yet and it was her birthday. I wanted to have a nice meal with her and celebrate with her. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. It has the same feel as many of the family restaurants in the surrounding areas. Food was delicious and our server was very nice and professional. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were clean and orderly. I was bummed out that they ran out of shrimp. But if it was a popular dish, I cannot blame them for running out. Cheese curds were good. They have white cheddar cheese curds in case you were wondering. Wish places would go to the yellow again. But anywho, overall great experience and left full.

We are soup lovers and got the best soup there. and that’s what they are called German Guys who understand what the delicious food and which was great . Got the beer battered walleye. It was greasy and the skin was still on half of it. Stick with breakfast and pasta dishes. Wish they had meatloaf! EDIT: I didn’t say there were scales on the fish I said skin. I don’t care for that. Just because some people love a dish doesn’t mean everyone will. My mashed potatoes were also room temp and lumpy. My brother said his pasta dish was good. Could I have complained, sure. But, I believe just because you don’t like a dish doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with it and the restaurant shouldn’t have to eat the cost for that. I could have sent the potatoes back but I was hungry and it didn’t matter enough to me to bother. I’ve been there one other time and got breakfast, it was good.

Stopped in for lunch, was busy but got seated right away. The service was friendly and fast, huge selection on the menus, the food came out quickly and hot. The portions are fantastic along with great taste and freshness. We will definitely be stopping in again. For a great meal and great price I would suggest stopping in.
