I enjoyed the egg-salad sandwich with ham, cucumber, corn, and buttered wheat bread quite a lot. The pork bulgogi onigiri had great flavor, and I was quite impressed by the inventive wrap that separates the nori so that it doesn’t get damp.
I was not quite so excited by the bacon kimbob, in part because I like my bacon crispy and this wasn’t quite there. It’s also quite dry.
Other Rice Junkies in the Bay Area have a specialty wrap with macaroni salad and a range of sauces, but this seems to be the first one that they’re experimenting with toast-based items more. I did not try the Issac toast, which is their signature item here that features an omelet inside of bread. I would go back to try that.
The only flaw that I can say about this sandwich is that it can get messy to eat so watch out if you need to make a good impression.
Note: Take out only so plan accordingly where you’re going to eat. The parking lot can get filled up easily since its in a plaza filled with a lot of other businesses.
Would I come back? I definitely would.
To people who are expecting the same rice junky menu from the other locations, this place’s menu is different.

I ordered the kimchee tuna triangle sushi. That was really good!
My husband ordered the bulgogi Kimbap and the meat was super dry. The bulgogi kimbap was packed inside of a small box and about 10 pieces.
We had to wait for the food to be fixed for about 10 mins.
The plaza itself is very sketchy. Rice Junky itself has a nice place. I hope the Plaza will improve over time.
