Very clean Place. Excellent food! better than any Chinese buffet AND sanitation score of 100! Friendly people, wonderful staff. I was in town from over an hour away and decided to try it out. I will definitely be bringing my family back for dinner sometime and this will be a regular place when i’m in the area as long as they keep that score up! ❤️️

First time here for my birthday dinner. I picked my usual entree and sides, pepper steak with fried rice and egg roll. There were a few other groups of customers at various tables in the vast dining area. It seemed to take a bit longer than I normally expected. The food was delivered to the table fresh and hot in compartmented trays with covers for easy take home of any left overs. Very cool idea. I will probably visit again the next time I have a craving for pepper steak.

First timer… Gentlemen who was at register was great. Super friendly, super helpful, knowledgeable of menu, offered suggestions. A+++
Food was hot and fresh. Veggies in lo mein was crisp & noodles were a great “chewy”.
Overall it was just so under-seasoned. It needed, salt, pepper, soy… Something. The cooking was great, just needed more flavor for me. ♂️

A win for vegan options! Lots of options for tofu with veg. They use a lot of fresh veggies and everything is a great price. The general tso’s was so good! We enjoyed it so much our first try that we came back the next day for more (this time to try the ginger tofu- also delish with fresh ginger in it!). We’ve since worked through the menu and haven’t found a thing we don’t like. The orange tofu, sesame tofu, and scallion tofu are also delicious.
The staff is super nice, informative to questions, and Justin who usually takes our orders is so polite and helpful. Be sure you order with white rice and swap your egg roll out for a spring roll if you’re vegan!
Edit to add props for how clean it always is, including the kitchen which is in full view. This has quickly become one of our favorite go-to places.

China King in Hickory USED TO BE our fav place to go until we just tried RICE FUN in Conover and when I say this may have been the BEST EGGROLL I have ever at and the General Tso is Amazing I mean every word of it! So clean inside Food was Super Hot fresh off the Grill and Justin Byrd is super nice friendly and helpful when ordering.

What a great meal we had at Rice Fun today!! We Live on the other side of Hickory, and it was well worth the drive. We had House fried rice, spring roll, egg roll and chicken wings!! Everything was made to order, and was delicious. The restaurant was very clean, and organized! Customer service was top notch. Kevin, the store manager checked on us to make sure our food was to our liking. We will definitely be back soon!!!! Please Support Local businesses!!!

I got a takeout teriyaki shrimp, chicken, steak add scallops and i got the Asian donuts with a gallon of sweet tea. The wait time was good, I Grabbed the food at 830pm and ate the donuts until they closed, then I realized they didn’t give me any utensils.
Doughnuts were good
Teriyaki sucks with a knife
Their white sauce is watery and bad
The scallops were gross
The chicken, shrimp, steak – decent
White sauce ruined most of it for me.
The spring roll was good

I usually eat Japanese they just do it better for sure. I should have stuck with the traditional Chinese entree’s (sweet sour chicken, general tso’s, beef and brocoli, etc.)
