Social Profile:

RICE FRUIT FARM IS A HISTORIC, NEW ENGLAND FAMILY-RUN FARM-STAND. Roots run deep here, having been established by Wilbraham farmer and preserver of nature, Jesse Rice in the late 1800s. He and his family built something special, and for nearly a century, offered responsibly grown fresh produce and home-baked goods. After years of restoring & renovating the original Rice family farm-stand, we reopened, and honor those traditions. Reviving the offerings once enjoyed here and added, and to provide the local communities a family destination to be proud of once again. Rices Fruit Farm is a well worth destination from anywhere in New England and beyond. Stop by for breakfast, coffee & ice cream! We look forward to serving you – The Maloni Family

Rice fruit farm is a great place for light fair. The sandwiches are excellent. But I think they’re best known for their pastries which are out of this world. Definitely plan on bringing some goodies home. I highly recommend the muffins. I once brought one of their pies home and we were kind of disappointed that for 16 bucks it was great but all the other pastries they sell seem to be smashing success. In the summer months, they have a great ice cream bar.

The hot dogs are very good!! We weren’t crazy about the Italian cookies but the scones on display looked incredible. Ordering was very quick and friendly but the hotdogs took a little while to come out (went on a Saturday afternoon). Lots of options for food and fun retail stuff to look through/buy as well.

We’ve been for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The sandwiches were great, hot and fresh and the iced coffee was good too. It’s a very popular spot so there was a wait but not too long. We have also come here for icream cream which was really good and they had tons of flavors to choose from. Lastly, I was truly pleasantly surprised at how amazing their Thanksgiving pies were and reasonably priced. I look forward to ordering again next year!

Shout out to the staff! When I stopped in the day after Christmas expecting a cozy pick me up, I could barely find a parking spot! The place was packed, with online orders coming in one after the next as well. The staff was on point, taking orders, calling names for coffees and sandwiches with a smile and cordial greeting. Great food, wholesome atmosphere. 5/5 stars

A wonderful throw back from the past!
I’ve been here a few times I love it. The bakery items are to die for. Everything made in the facility. What a novelty to have a place like this still existing. They offer sandwiches and bagels with coffee and tea – iced and hot selections.
My mocha coffee iced was wonderful.
My grilled cheese was Classic and worth the money. I also bought as much as I could pastries and pies.
Since I don’t live near the area. I definitely want to make sure I have enough to bring home.
Definitely, check it out!

I desperately want to give this place fiive stars because the food and atmosphere are fantastic! The pies, pastries, ice cream stand, frequent actives and live music are all wonderful. The kitchen is sadly quite slow if it gets even slightly busy. I often order in advance but about 15 minutes and still end up waiting upwards of 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich and coffee.

Family owned and operated apple orchard and country store. Friendly staff, great food, ice cream, and mix if odds & ends.

Store offers great coffee, baked goods, bagels, and breakfast sandwiches served on their own in-house baked breads and bagels.

Store also has wide variety of natural soaps, oils, ointments and other items including Sasquatch, and their own recipes.

Serves home-made ice cream, including very tasty vegan flavors, year round.

Fire pits and lawn games at great outdoor seating area. Local bands perform during warmer months.

This was such a cute farm stand that I can almost forgive the coffee! I will preface this by saying I came for breakfast, but there’s so much here that my experience was only a sliver of what you can do.

I am not normally a coffee snob (read: will drink anything caffeinated and enjoy it), but my latte was a bit too watery for my taste. I ordered an oatmilk vanilla latte (nondairy problems ) and my guess is the oatmilk is the problem. What redeemed them however, was the pumpkin muffin top I had – the texture was perfect, and it was delicious.

I’m open to returning and trying drip coffee and/or some of their other food — all their baked goods looked delicious!!
