Traditional southern cooking at a true local’s restaurant. Service is fast and friendly. Located in downtown Lynchburg just down the street from Jack Daniels distillery. Breakfasts are very reasonable priced under $10. Breakfast and lunch served six days a week (closed Monday) and Friday all you can eat fish fry.

This food is delicious and you definitely get your money’s worth! The staff is very friendly and they make sure to check on you to make sure the food is good and if you need anything else. We felt very much at home in this restaurant, even though they could tell we were not from around there :). This is a must stop if you are going to be in Lynchburg!

Awesome service and excellent food. Lots of locals and tourists eat here. That’s always a good sign a place is something special. The catfish was fantastic and the coleslaw was much better than most. They have a good menu with lots of options and specials every day. Probably not a great spot for vegetarian or vegan menu options. I’ll definitely be back.

Had breakfast there while my dad and I waited for Jack Daniels distillery to open. The waitress was nice and talked to us. The food was amazing. Those where the best biscuits I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Next time I am in the area I am going to stop there again.

The service was great, food came fast and tasted great. I had the chicken fingers and the breading on it was amazing. The onion rings were also top notch. Go with the onion rings over the fries. Oh yeah and their ranch was also fantastic

Excellent breakfast. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Everything on the menu looked great. Meal was ready in no time. Potions are a decent size. Try pancakes, it’s like having a piece of cake. If your looking for a good breakfast while in Lynchburg, this should be on your stop.

We drove all night and arrived here for breakfast. The service was excellent, and the food was really good, too. My kids had pancakes, and I tasted them. They were fantastic. Almost everyone cleaned their plates entirely. If I make it back to Lynchburg, I’ll definitely be stopping in here again.

Stopped in to get a bite to eat on the way to move my son to college. They had high reviews and decided to give them a try. My husband had the catfish nuggets, white beans and creamed corn. He was very pleased with his selection. My son and I both had burgers, which were good, and came with homemade fries. The fries were good, but were almost underdone and needed to be put through the fryer a second time to get crispy. My husband ordered the pie, which was not made in house, but looked just like Mrs. Edwards or some other boxed product. Karen was our server and she provided excellent service. Overall, I would recommend this place to others and will probably be back!
