Food is really good and plates are well served. This location is small and you might have to wait for a table and the service can be slow. During lunch it does take a while to get the food. Have tried before lunch and service is still slow.

By far some of the best food on the island. We have been there as just a couple as well as in a large group and have never had anything but delicious food. Everything from simple pasta to authentic Peruvian was superb. Even our pickiest kids and friends were impressed. Hats off to the manager and staff on duty on our last visit. They were working very short staffed but our service was still great. We take all our visitors there for dinner.

This restaurant is not very large with maybe 8 -10 tables, but as always it was a typical-Ricardo’s with excellent food.
We ordered the Daily lunch special of ranchero steak and pollo en mole. The salad and great flavour are the best Mexican north of of the Rio Grande! The prices were $10-11. The manager explained they had opened new establishment on Frontage Rd.,/Highway 77 in Harlingen recently.

Went during lunch hour and the restauran was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Food was out on time and it was really delicious. Prices are good, not expensive.

When we arrived we were entered onto the waiting list. After waiting 20 minutes for a table we noticed we were next in line. When it was finally time to sit down the lady in charge came over to tell us she had to pass another client before us because the client had called over the phone but she had forgotten to write him down on the waiting list. Very unprofessional after we were physically there waiting in person. With that type of service we’ll never go back there again.

Great food but there attention to customers order sucks. Like the 5th time I order something and they get it wrong. So check your order before leaving because you’ll get home with the wrong order.
