Cozy & quaint spot for upscale Italian dinners featuring housemade pasta & Italian wines.

Romantic for our dinner date, open kitchen, fresh menu, I suggest reservations, this small space has everything you need packed in. Staff on point, friendly, not stuffy, food is exceptional with hand made pasta. A manageable selection of wine, not to overwhelming, my only regret was not getting dessert, next time!

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. But what truly elevated our experience was our phenomenal waitress, Linea. Her professionalism, warmth, and deep knowledge of the menu were unmatched. I had a simple request—no cheese—and without hesitation, she ensured my meal was prepared exactly as I wanted, all while making me feel valued and heard.
But let’s talk about the food. Flawless. Spectacular. A symphony of flavors that transported me straight to culinary heaven. Every bite was a masterpiece, bursting with authenticity and crafted with care. You can tell that this restaurant takes pride in delivering not just a meal, but an experience—one that engages all the senses.
And the service? Let’s just say I’m metaphorically (and almost literally) doing a triple backflip out of pure joy! The perfect balance of attentiveness and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home.
I’ll be raving about this place to anyone who will listen, and trust me—I will absolutely be back. If you haven’t been here yet, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. You’ll thank me later!

One of Portland’s best-kept secrets!
We’re locals, and have tried so many great restaurants on the peninsula, but Ribollita is by far one of our absolute favorites!
To us, this is one of the few remaining spots that truly feels like you’re dining at home with family and friends. The atmosphere is always inviting and cozy. The service is always friendly. Above all, the food is always delicious and clearly made with care and love. My favorite items from the menu have to be the North End style linguini with shell fish and white sauce, and the homemade vanilla ice cream with biscotti.
This is a true family-owned and operated restaurant. You don’t find too many of them these days, with so many newer restaurants being owned by hospitality groups and investors. Kevin (the owner and chef) and his wife, MJ, have been in their location since 1996! We were lucky enough to get to have MJ as our server during a recent visit, and it was so neat to see Kevin and his team right there in the kitchen!
If you’re looking for a true “mom and pop” style dining experience with a satisfying meal made with love, then this is the place for you!

MJ was THE most incredible host! She was welcoming on the phone and in person. The food and wine selection was incredible too! I was a solo traveler and she made me feel welcomed and part of her family!
The bean balsamic ravioli was divine. Thank you!

We were spontaneous tonight and decided to try Ribollita. We’ve had always known about it, but never had the chance to give them a try. We made the right choice! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is very cozy — like we’re over someone’s house for dinner. Everything that we ordered was amazing, and the portion sizes were more than decent. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth. I was blown away by the flan not only for its wonderful flavor, but for its velvety texture. Ribollita is a mom-and-pop shop, and I can’t stress enough the importance of supporting a small, family-run business such as this. Big shout out to MJ for being a lovely server, and Kevin for the well-curated menu. See you again soon, thank you!

Incredible authentic Italian food! Best Italian restaurant we’ve been to in Portland hands down. Amazing homemade pastas and everything tasted like it was made from scratch. Service was 5-star, extremely kind and friendly, and it made our night even more special. We will be back!!

We attempted the Italian Bizarre and opted for Ribollita instead. We are so glad we did. First, we recommend reservations. We lucked out with a last-minute table this evening. The interior is quaint. We opted for a bottle of Chianti. It tasted well, but my husband would have preferred the server to refill our glasses. We ordered a Caesar salad to share. It was a hefty portion. It’s definitely enough to share. The complimentary bread was, eh? The bread tasted stale and could have used oil for dipping. For our main meal I chose the ravioli and my partner chose the gnocchi. Both meals were hearty and full of flavor. The pan sear on the gnocchi was unique and added a bite I didn’t expect. We’ll be back!

This restaurant is extremely tight with space. Our chairs were running up against the next table. We had a party of four and it was so very tight. Not enough space to leave the table mid meal. Waitress could barely get through to serve. Won’t be going back.
