My friend and his wife invited my wife and me to RIBBRO BBQ in Foothill Ranch for lunch, and we had a pleasant time. The restaurant offers Texas-style BBQ, though it’s not quite as authentic as what you’d find in Texas—but that’s perfectly fine.
The ribs were slightly dry but still acceptable, and I hope they can improve on that in the future. On the other hand, the dirty rice was flavorful. The portion sizes are just right for one person, making the meal satisfying without being overwhelming.
The service was great! The server even mentioned that we could ask to have the bread toasted, which was a nice touch.
Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

really didn’t look like it would be so tasty from the outside. But it is phenomenal brisket cooked to perfection. And the burnt ends are tasty too. Kimchi slaw and dirty rice decent. Overall best bbq in the area by far, price and quality.

Nice to have another choice to get some ‘que when you have that craving. Easy to find parking. When you walk in, they will greet you with a friendly welcome. You are also treated to a nice smokey smell from the smoked meat. Good assortment on the menu of plates and sandwiches, as well as being able to purchase meat by the pound. Staff was very friendly and informative. You place your order and they will deliver to your table when ready. Since this was my first visit here, I ordered a combo plate to sample the smoked goods. Also comes with two sides. I got the veggies and the dirty rice. They have a counter with utensils and various bbq sauces and even a sink to wash your hands! Atmosphere is pleasing. The meats were excellent. Tender, smokey, and delicious. Texas toast was OK. I would highly recommend it if looking for a bbq fix. My wife also really enjoyed the meal and the location.

If you want a good legitimate bbq place, this isn’t it. I have found that if the sides red beans and rice, collard greens, corn bread, and Mac and cheese, it ain’t gon hit. I ordered a Pulled Pork sandwich with a side of Mac and coleslaw. Sandwich was decent but needed some more seasoning/a more flavorful sauce. Mac was not great as it was not creamy, or cheesy. It was a little pastey. Coleslaw was ok but I’ve never been a big fan of coleslaw. I knew I messed up when I sad down and seen “Vegan Friendly” on the window. Vegans don’t belong anywhere near a real bbq spot. I wouldn’t tell you not to go it you want some good food but I’d tell you not to come here if you wanted a legitimate soul food experience.

The brisket here is always so tender you don’t need a knife and can cut it with a plastic fork. The ribs are also delicious. The Texas toast is buttered to perfection. The mac & cheese is heavenly. The BBQ sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and savory.
Workers/owners are super nice and helpful. They offer suggestions when you don’t know what to order. Food comes out quickly (and gets devoured just as quick).
Atmosphere is very homey. Prices are very reasonable for this kind of BBQ.
I’ve only come here on weekdays for dinner and it has never been crowded. I hope this restaurant stays open for a long time. One of my favorite places to go to. Highly recommend if you’re in the OC area.

Good bbq! There’s a lady that’s does a little bit of everything. Take your order, cashier, answer the phone, clean the tables, pack to go, etc. LOL. She needs some extra help but she was very attentive and nice. The chef came out and turned on Cocomelon for my daughter on one of their big TVs. She beamed with joy! Back to the food : solid BBQ and a great addition to the Lake Forest area.

From the moment you walk into this place, you smell the warmth of the wood fires in the kitchen and you know, immediately, it’s going to be good. Korean styled American BBQ is not only a brilliant idea on paper, but in application, and comes to form in delicious tender meats that melt in your mouth. The flat-cut fries also hold all the qualities of a perfect fry. Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside.
The few people I interacted with to pickup my order from were incredibly sweet and helpful, which just put the cherry on top of the whole thing.
This is absolutely a new favorite spot for me, and I cannot wait to come back!

This place has the best BBQ, you can’t go wrong with any of the items. Must try pulled pork, brisket and the lettuce ssam pork belly plate. Dont forget to ask for the toasted garlic bread.

I had the brisket and pork belly burnt ends. Both were delicious. I also had the Mac n cheese, BBQ beans and corn bread. All on point. The brisket was definitely my favorite. Smells amazing when you walk in also. I will return when im in the area.
