We stopped in Rifle, CO for the night and ordered a rack of ribs to go from the Rib City Grill. We were really surprised at the small size of the ribs as well as the lack of meat on them. As you can see from our picture, we nibbled them completely to the bone… so the flavor of the meat was okay although rather dry. Also, when we brought the ribs to our room, there were no utensils to eat the side of cole slaw and no napkins. On a positive note, it was easy to order over the phone, and the service was fast…about 10 minutes for the order to be ready.

Great phone order experience with Jasmine. Walked over from hotel and picked up food. Ordered Brisket and Pulled Pork. Brisket was good , Pulled Pork was so so. Got back to the hotel and no bbq sauce, not one. There were supposed to be 3. My fault for not checking at pickup, always check!!! On the phone order she mentioned they had 3 sauces and one of each would be in the order. It was kind of busy when I picked up. I would have thought the guy handing out the food would have either checked or at least asked if I wanted any which would’ve caught it. Wings without ranch, Mexican without hot sauce, BBQ without sauce, who does that to their customers? You should be ashamed!!
I think the food was too expensive for what I got, which was two meats and two sides for $28.

Utterly dissatisfied, disappointed, and disgusted. My family and I stopped in for a meal and well the food came out cold. I’m talking as if it came straight from the fridge, sat under the food wormer and the brought to our table. The onion rings we ordered were drenched in oil, and was flavorless, the only thing that made it taste even slightly good was the ranch. The food had zero flavoring tasted like oil. It’s like this place doesn’t believe in seasonings not even good ol salt & pepper! It’s the oil though that got me! The Mac & Cheese was sitting in a pool of oil, it tasted not like Mac & cheese but oil. As for the Chicken & Ribs well again flavorless and dryer than the Sahara desert. Let’s just say my son is a complete foodie and he only touched the Ranch and some fries.
The service was ok. The server was nice but I’m sure she could tell coming to our table that we didn’t touch a thing, and asked how everything was. Which we replied “ehhh it’s alright” she just continued like if we enjoyed it. We never got refills on our drinks and only got checked up on once.
Anyways if you like oiled filled, cold as hell, flavorless food THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I will definitely NOT be back!

This place has great tasting food and reasonable prices. I got a to go order, The 3 meat combo came with 2 sides. I ordered ribs, brisket , and chicken for the meats. My 2 sides were the green beans & mac and cheese. All for $24 out the door, Everything tasted great. I recommend this restaurant, and if I come back to Rifle, Colorado, I will definitely eat here again . Sorry I didn’t get pictures of the menu.

We had our valentines lunch here had the pick 3 I got the half rack of ribs brisket and smoked cheddar sausage and they were all really good the sausage was my favorite waitress was really nice and polite very quick clean and organized everyone was smiling and the atmosphere was good

We are driving through the area and stopped here to have dinner tonight while traveling. We chose Rib City Grill over every other option in town based on reviews.
The service was excellent. Our server was Heather, and she was very polite and accommodating. The food was pretty good. The cost was fair for barbecue.
We ordered the three cheese fries as an entree, and they were soooo good. Three different types of melted cheeses and fresh, crispy bacon crumbled on top of it all with ranch as a dip. The ranch was fresh and homemade.
We also ordered the Rib City Combo, Pick Three, and went with a half rack of baby back ribs, pulled pork, and chicken, with two sides.
I felt that the ribs were a little lacking in meat but only enjoyed a half rack.
The green beans and macaroni and cheese were decent, and the smoked chicken wasn’t bad. The pulled pork was decent as well.
We enjoyed the atmosphere. There were many signs on the walls to read, and country music was playing during our meal.
The server, Heather, was inquisitive and friendly and able to answer our questions about the food and area.
The lady who brought us our food was also able to explain to us about the different barbecue sauces to choose from.
I would eat here again to try some of the other foods we weren’t able to try this time.

My Mom and I ate at Rib City in Rifle today for my birthday. The service was not very good. There was a small piece of something that was kinda rubbery in my baked beans, I showed it to the waitress and she said it looked like onion and I told her it was not onion. All she could say was I am sorry. Tone of her voice was not one on someone who is sorry.

Absolutely amazing BBQ! The food was delicious! Flavorful, and cooked to perfection. But what really made the experience stand out was the great service from Pamela.
