Undoubtedly one of my favorite BBQ restaurants. As soon as you walk in you can smell the delicious smokiness that all quality BBQ restaurants should have. They have great prices, decent portions and exceptional food and sauces. To anyone who has not tried this place I highly recommend giving it a chance.

Service was mediocre. Had a few of the wait staff pass us up and not greet us at the door. Our waitress had the personality of a rock. For a place that prides itself on the ribs they serve they could have done a better job. They had a good taste but they were not fall-off-the-bone good. Smokey Bones has them beat in that category.

New to the area and was told to go here on a family recommendation. It was awesome. I was worried since it wasn’t extremely busy on a Friday evening but my husband and I really enjoyed it. I got the smoked turkey and he got the riblet. The staff treated us well and promptly got us refills and the waitress was patient when we took too long to order. Bathrooms are clean. Will go back for sure!

The food is excellent, like homemade BBQ. The service, while polite, can sometimes be slow as they don’t always have adequate staffing. The prices are also good, especially since their lunch specials are valid on the weekends as well.
They also have an outdoor patio that is quite nice in the summer. It’s tough to really have a good view of anything in the Springdale area, but the elevation here provides about the best you’re going to get while dining.
Shares a parking lot with Hooters, so there is more than ample parking (they host car meets in the summer), but some people will get confused and go to the wrong store (as odd as that seems, I’ve seen it happen multiple times).

Wow. Best BBQ ever! Amazing food and service that is above and beyond the highest quality. I cannot express how flavorful the food it. I almost swallowed the bones. Mike is an great guy, the salt of the earth and I’ll be back every chance I get.

I can’t imagine it was because of Father’s Day, but when a restaurant is at maybe 15% occupancy, you should never have any type of long wait. We walk in and are seated right away and thenwait 10 minutes before a drink order was taken. Drinks come and I guess an unsweet tea is code for a water here. That’s fine, I don’t mind water, but I would have rather had tea. Order is taken and I am assuming the $18 order I had would be of the average sized portion you expect at any BBQ place. Orders come and I didn’t know if half of my ribs fall off of the plate or they were bringing them on a second plate. Nope, I received the small end of a quarter of a slab and a very small and fatty, medium and large piece of St. Louis Ribs. Maybe they heard child’s portion, because the tables around us had ordered full slabs and received a plateful of ribs. The sauces were good and the sides were fine despite being obviously canned green beans.
Our waitress vanished during the final 10 minutes of our meal and for another 20 minutes after we had finished eating. Finally, she comes back over, leaves our check and disappears for another 10 minutes. Mind you, the tables that were next to us had a waiter who was checking in every little bit. I’m assuming a lady who was the manager even talked to the tables next to us and asked how they were doing but skipped ours.
Part of my trip was to see how the food and service was to possibly use them as a catering company for lunches at work which would have guaranteed them a catering job every month. I don’t expect perfect service, I just expect service, and to leave a restaurant feeling like I have eaten a full meal.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! OMG I had no idea there was good BBQ in Cincinnati other than the Montgomery Inn until my family and I tried Rib City the other night. By far the best BBQ I’ve had since I moved back to Cincinnati from Ft Worth Texas!

Best secret in town. A full rack of babyback ribs and 2 sides is only $15. It’s not a huge rack, but delicious… tender, practically no fat, and I love the sauce. I’ve been here several times and have never had to wait for a table.

Usually a good experience but today not as good. Seemed understaffed and not prepared for Fathers day crowd. Called yesterday for reservation, but waited 35 min to get seated. Portions were samller than usual. (Heard several tables complaining about the same thing). Ran out of St Louis ribs so maybe we all got shorted on the babybacks

We’ve been in here a few times, total mixed bag. Some of the food was good, some was obviously reheated and lame. Rack of ribs – good. Pulled pork sandwiches – meh. The appetizers (cheese curds and breaded shrimp) were delicious, but the price for the serving size was way too high. Almost 10 bucks for a shrimp basket that may have had 5-6 oz of shrimp in it. No way that was a half pound of shrimp…
But where the restaurant really falls down is in the service department. I don’t know if they have too few waitresses or what, but we waited forever for refills. Tried to flag down our waitress, knowing full well she had seen us, and she just kept walking. And understand, the place was empty. I know it was a Thursday night, but the place was a ghost town.
Which brings up another issue – the place is run down and falling apart. The front steps are rotting and sagging, speaker cables laying all of the floor, shabby looking, etc. It has all of the hallmarks of a “RETAIL SPACE AVAILABLE” sign going up at any time. At least not without some improvements. I really want to support the small business guy here, help me help you…
