ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE service from server and manager. My wife and I ordered the poutine and a hamburger to share with a side of Mac and cheese as the menu clearly states to pick a side of choice. But when the bill came out, we were charged seven dollars for the mac & cheese side we chose. We asked the server about this. He said this is how they always do it. He asked if we wanted him to bring us a menu to check it. Which we did after reviewing the menu for a second time under burgers and sandwiches it says to choose a side of choice not that there was a limitation of sides. As stated in the pictures, I have attached to this review. It does not say we would’ve been charged extra of any amount based on our choice of side and when we asked for the manager to come out and explain why they would not take off the seven dollar charge the server brought out a 20% off coupon for our next visit when we continue to ask for a manager, the server said the manager Ava said they would only take four dollars off of the seven that was charged instead of arguing. We finally go ahead and pay and then realize the 20% off card that they left was taken off the table from us. It’s not like we were going to be able to go back because we are from Texas here on our honeymoon.

Really nice Irish pub with a very simple food menu. Starters and mainly burgers. We got the BBQ ones. They were good and the fries also tasty. The service very friendly and the price was good. The tables to sit aren’t the best .. it is best for people who want to sit in the bar.

We visited on 10/9/2025 and we’re not disappointed at all. Checked it out before our trip to VT. Loved the atmosphere!!!! We did not have to wait for a table. Our server Anna was Great!!! Very friendly and took care of us very well!!! I had the Fish & Chips and my hubby had the Bangers and Mash. What a great meal!!!! The fish was huge and cooked perfectly!!! Not too much batter. Fish was flaky and moist!!! Chips were awesome!!!! Bangers and Mash…Delicious!! Cooked perfectly and gravy was on point!!! Had some Soda bread and a piece of Vermont Maple Cheesecake. Both were amazing!!! If you’re in Burlington, VT..This is a must!!!

Would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone. Used to love this place, have frequented it many times- even had our rehearsal dinner here! I am not sure if we just had bad luck, however, the service was nearly non existent- I think we interacted with our waitress to place our order and pay our bill. There were zero interactions in the 50 plus minutes we waited for French fries and Mac and cheese (while watching other tables came after us and leave long before us). Can’t blame the waitstaff for a kitchens shortfall, but we were never given any update whatsoever, never had drinks refreshed-nothing. When our food eventually came, it was mediocre at best and outrageously priced for what the portions are ($40 plus for what is pictured here). We try to support any local spot on church st and keep things within the community but I would think twice (or three times) before ever coming back here.

Food was very good but service was so-so. Huge laps in time between service. Seated then waited 15 minutes for server. Kid brought water over after 10 minutes which was nice. Another 20 minutes before appetizer arrived and another 20 minutes our meal arrived after app dishes were cleaned. Place was not that busy either. Don’t be in a hurry

Fish and chips here is delicious and huge portions. Big filet of fish, lightly battered, you couldn’t beat it in many other places. Their fries are also pretty great. Had a Caesar salad as replacement too which was tasty.
The server was super chill. He gave some suggestions/advice on what food to get which was helpful.

I had two visits in two days. First visit no wait courteous service, about 30 percent occupancy. Staff was attentive and checked in regularly. Had a couple drinks, after ordering food came out quickly and was very good. Second time about 75 percent or so seemed to be a little understaffed. Staff was friendly and polite but clearly in a rush, after ordering didn’t talk to the waitress again until checkout. Overall I would absolutely recommend going here. Great drink selection, atmosphere and food.

Nice place. I told the waiter that I was gluten free, and ordered my burger with a gluten free bun and salad, but it came out with a regular bun. I asked them to change it, but they just put the same patty on the GF bun – I explained that it had to be remade to avoid cross contamination, and they rushed the order for me.
Overall, they remade it properly, but definitely be aware just in case.

Our server Emily was very kind and helpful. The big ceaser with grilled chicken was super good and tasteful. The smoke house burger was very dry and didn’t have any good flavor to it.

Good place to come grab a drink or bite to eat. Right on church street. Plenty of seats available inside, also great for large groups. They also had outside seating but it was filled up very quickly. You could wait if you wanted or just sit inside. The service was very slow. The chicken bites appetizers were very good, lightly breaded and delicious.
