The food was decent, but not excellent. What turned our first visit into a great disappointment, was the rudeness and lack of concern of our server, the older smaller gentleman. From the time we walked in, he did not speak a word to us, motioned us to follow him, and pointed to the table where we sat. His disdain toward us was evident and increased through the evening. He could be going through something, mad about something, or who knows what, but his anger was projected toward us in a passive but precise way, and it made the entire experience one we never want to repeat again.

The service was very slow even though I was one of two people eating in the restaurant. The waitress was not attentive and I had to chase her down to pay for my food. They have only two pho options, and their “small” beef pho is tiny. In contrast, the “small” at somewhere else like Viet Huong is probably 10x bigger! I want to like this place and I may try it again eventually, but not anytime soon.

Had a craving for pho on a Monday. My usual to go to places are closed on a Monday. I’ve decided to go give Ri Le another try, as it has been awhile since I’ve been here. Went there at 4pm and there were no more than three tables occupied. Good for us, I thought.

Super quiet. Dead in there. Didn’t bring enough plates. Asked for straws and lemon for water and they never brought out. When I asked for the missing plate she gave us an attitude. When we asked for the missing plate “it’s coming just give me a minute” with attitude. Maybe with a better environment and staff they could have a decent restaurant, but the experience was not usual and unsatisfactory due to the wait staff.

My family and I knew we were taking a chance with a restaurant that doesn’t have a website in the year 2023, but we went ahead and gave it a shot. Big mistake. It was the worst Vietnamese food we’ve ever had. (The order was take out, or we would have sent it back to the kitchen and left.)

I was blissfully eating my spring roll when as I was biting I felt hair in my mouth – I pull out the spring roll and a lonnnnng black hair pulls out of my mouth … the long hair is wrapped into the wonton paper of the spring roll.. I gagged and spit up the rest of the food . The taste of the food WAS good but I could never eat here again as I question the cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant.
