Category: Chocolate Shop. This large, rustic, high-ceilinged shop in an historic building on Dahlonega Square dedicates half the shop to its incredible array of chocolates and half to the kitchen where the magic happens. Two large showcases offer a large selection of handmade milk and dark truffles, bark, cups, turtles, and other chocolate delicacies. Tables down the center of the large room and wall shelves display boxed surprise assortments, boxes of identifiable assortments, bars wrapped in gold foil, wrapped bars, giant bars, brittle, and bags of chocolate-dipped nuts. In addition to its all-chocolate-all-the-time vibe, the shop has another great feature: a model train track suspended from the ceiling, along which chugs a steam locomotive and several cars, which during our visit were Christmas themed. Any shop with a functioning model train automatically earns five stars from me, but this shop also earned them with its excellent chocolates. Of course we bought more than we needed. Wait. What am I saying? There’s no such thing as too much artisanal chocolate. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

OMG!!!!!! This place is a little chunky of heaven. This is the best quality chocolate I’ve ever had. I bought enough to take home from my trip but it didnt make it. I ate it all it was so good. The chocolate covered pretzels were oh so good! Great service and clean. I loved it. It even had a bit of nostalgia with an old fashioned train that rides continuously overhead.

I love dark chocolate so I was excited to be able to get some fresh dark chocolate from a chocolatier shop. I got peanut brittle, and dark chocolate sampler of the best sellers and there were very delicious. Highly recommend.

Super tasty treats! I love the Oreo bark! Oskar put me on and now I’m addicted. Super duper good! There’s lots of other options too but that was by far my favorite! Probably the best place to get treats from in all Dahlonega! The candy is delish and the employees are super nice and funny especially Oskar. Can’t tell what was better, the Oreo bark or Oskar’s jokes. Definitely going back next time I’m in the area!

This is a nice chocolate shop in the center of town with plenty of selection to satisfy any sweet tooth!
We stopped in for the first time after visiting the Gold Museum in the middle of town and were pleasantly surprised with the discovery.
This is definitely a spot to check out while visiting Dahlonega and a place we will be sure to return to!

This place is a sweet little shop downtown on the square where you can really feel the local atmosphere. The deserts are really of high quality and the service was great. The man at the counter Oksar was very personable and told me lots about the place. I got some of the chocolate covered Pringle’s which were great. Definitely somewhere you should pop into if you are walking around the square.

Micah, Faith and all the staff are always so welcoming. They truly make you feel like family each and every time you go in. Also the Hot Chocolate is the best on the square.
