We did a reservation roughly 8pm for a friends birthday, 4 of us in total and I had been before when it was busy but on a Monday was nice and calm. The staff from the front door in the lobby to upstairs to our server Mariana were all amazing and so sweet allowing us to not rush at all even past closing when we tried to hurry up. Food? Absolutely amazing! Drinks were perfect and not too strong at all which was great. The whole restaurant is always gorgeous with such an amazing view of downtown. Always going to recommend them!

5/5 experience!!!
This restaurant is stunning! The atmosphere is sexy, open yet private, and RH did an absolutely amazing job designing this space.
When you first walk in you’re greeted by a doorman and host to verify you have a reservation. You then go upstairs to the rooftop and the trip up in their elevator is breathtaking. You get to admire the furniture and fixtures as you ascend to the top floor. When the doors open you’re greeted again and immediately immersed in the beautiful setting which is RH Rooftop.
We dined here at night for my birthday dinner and we were given the perfect corner booth! It was so private and had a view of the entire restaurant. Absolutely gorgeous!
The food was amazing! We had the following items:
– Caesar Salad (croutons on the side) 5/5 perfect balance of flavor, dressing, and lettuce
– Entree Shrimp 5/5 – Large and flavorful
– Entree Ribeye 5/5 – Large, flavorful, cooked to perfection, and the sea salt on the side to add according to your preference was a great touch!
– Side mashed potatoes 4/5 – Pretty tasty and filling. They were a little runnier than I imagined but the flavor was great
– Dessert Raspberry Sorbet 5/5 – Perfect balance of tart and sweet
– Drinks: Prosecco and Cabernet
Loved this restaurant and I’d love to try it next time for their brunch!
Please note that they do not have a full bar and only serve wine and non alcoholic drinks/mocktails.

Dined here in February 2026 with coworkers. I wasn’t aware of this setup inside the Restoration Hardware store. It was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is on the top floor of the location. It was winter so sat inside. The decor and ambiance suited to the location and flair and the type you’d expect from RH. The service was spot on, the attendants and the waitstaff very attentive. The options for dining were just as you expected and diverse for anyone and everyone. The location we sat was comfortable and it was quite yet vibrant. The place was humming for a Thursday night with both visitors and locals. I would definitely find myself dining here again in the future.

Great ambiance! Furniture and lights heaven. Rooftop dining is awesome. Food and drinks well priced too. Service was great. Live the glass elevator showing every floor to get to the rooftop restaurant too. Another happy place for me and will go back.

We had an amazing experience at RH Rooftop. The chandeliers, lighting, food, service. One of the few places where the ambiance is actually worth it. My favorite thing was the truffle fries, this is a must. It’s all coated with truffle every bite. The branzino, simple classic. Not as bony as I expected. Salt on side. Lobster roll excellent, bread was extra buttery. Crème brûlée is a little more caramel than I like but still very good. Def on the heavier side. On and the burrata, the peppers were grilled to perfection. The vegetables with this was the highlight. Broccolini also very good. Honestly everything was good. Our server was very kind to bring me a club soda after hearing about my hangover. I will definitely be back to try the steak and burger.

STUNNING ROOFTOP VIEWS
If you’re looking for one of the most beautiful dining settings in New York City, RH Rooftop is it. The atmosphere is glamorous, the design is chic, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop mid-sentence just to soak it all in.
OUTDOOR DINING IS A MUST
If the weather cooperates, definitely request a table outside. The rooftop seating transforms the experience, giving you fresh air and unbeatable city views. It’s where RH Rooftop truly shines.
INSIDE DINING CAN FEEL CRAMPED
The interior dining room is elegant, but be prepared: on busy nights it’s tightly packed, with not much space between tables. The energy is lively and social, but it may not be the best option if you’re looking for something more intimate.
LIMITED BUT CURATED DRINK MENU
One thing to know before you go: the bar serves only wine, champagne, and champagne cocktails—no hard liquor. The options are well-curated and creative, but if you’re expecting a full bar, you may be disappointed.
BOTTOM LINE
RH Rooftop is all about the views and ambiance. Come for the spectacular setting, plan for outdoor dining if possible, and enjoy the atmosphere—it’s a must-see spot in NYC.

The RH Rooftop in New York offers a stunning experience with its beautifully restored space featuring elegant finishes and chandeliers, making it a perfect backdrop for photos. The food was impressive; the ribeye was cooked to perfection, the salmon was delicious, and the lobster rolls were a crowd favorite. Despite a casual crowd, the place was bustling with activity. Additionally, there’s an outdoor rooftop deck that likely provides an amazing view during the summer.

Surprisingly, the food was actually decent. Very good flavors but prices are high due to the hype. You’re really going for the ambiance. The rooftop views are superb, but idk if I could really dine outdoors when it’s cold.

This restaurant is lovely! Excellent service, delicious food, creative cocktails! I loved the atmosphere. It was a perfect day to sit outside and they have a beautiful garden area with great views and cool music. Thanks for a perfect September afternoon. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed this rooftop spot! Perched above a furniture store in the Meatpacking District, it’s got a fresh, open vibe and some really nice views of the city. The food is good—well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying—but it’s not the kind of place where a single dish surprises you. Service is attentive and friendly, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. Drinks are a little limited, though: no cocktails, mostly wine, and a handful of mocktails. That said, it’s still a fun spot for a casual meal or a late afternoon snack with friends. The rooftop setting really sets it apart and makes it feel special in a neighborhood with plenty of options. Not mind-blowing, but definitely worth a visit if you want a chill meal with a view.
