This is one of the most posh & upscale restaurants in Birmingham. Its’ airy & elegant atmosphere is relaxing. Naturally decorated in RH themed neutrals is safe. The roof top view is a nice departure. The staircase ascent is a part of the experience too because it’s near surreal levels.
The menu is limited yet sufficient. Personally I found the foods tasty, despite being saltier than I prefer. For the premium price I was expecting higher quality ingredients. The hamburger is a good example, it’s priced around $25 and I was thinking it’d have a nice Wagu beef…nope. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still tasty. For the price point I was simply expecting more. For a lot less I think I’d pick Culver’s as it was only a notch down IMHO. However Culver’s isn’t as upscale or offering libations.
I’d certainly recommend if you’re targeting an upscale experience. The customer service is amazing…the food is just good & not great.

RH rooftop Detroit in Birmingham is an incredible experience from the moment you walk in the grandeur of this establishment takes you and captures all of your senses.
The architecture and furniture are beautiful as you make your way up the cascading staircase. Once you arrive at the rooftop the 360 view is incredible and the natural lighting makes for an energetic and inviting atmosphere. The food was delightful and very well presented our server Cathy was excellent and very attentive to our every need she was warm and predicted our wants and needs before we could express them. We had several items off the menu including a carpaccio, the mini lobster rolls, oysters, and the waygu steak all of which were delectable and prepared with great care. We will definitely be back and be sure to tell our friends and family thank you!

We had high expectations of this restaurant as we have dined at the Florida location and Birmingham RH proved to be lovely. The aesthetic, decor and dining area of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Once upstairs it feels like you’re in a true downtown. The views while eating are worth the visit here. Keeping in mind we were dining at an upscale furniture store, the food was good. We ordered a few drinks, the burrata appetizer, chicken sandwich, green beens and their famous burger. Everything was cooked well. Our server was incredibly kind and all of the staff had great energy.

My friends and I had such a good experience here for my birthday! First of all, they were very accommodating. I was running like 30 mins late (getting out of the house is a struggle w my 7 month old) and they were so understanding and still let us keep our reservation. It really meant so much to me as a first time mom who doesn’t get out the house much. Then, our waitress Jackie was so kind and amazing too! She was very attentive and patient with us the whole time and even gave me a birthday treat with a candle. I am just very impressed with the whole staff here and how kind everyone was. The food was good too, the truffle fries, Caesar salad and cappuccino I had were great! This place was definitely a splurge, but it was nice for a special occasion. It was beautifully designed, which sets it apart from all other high end restaurants in the metro Detroit area. The overall vibes were amazing! Thank you!

The restaurant itself is pretty, the vibe is awesome. Grilled shrimp and fried artichokes were really good. Ribeye steak was good. My filet was overdone. I asked for medium and got well done ( i hate well done steak). The waiter did not even come to check and ask whether the food was to our expectations. Considering it is still new and the staff has some things to work on, I will give another try. They definitely need to make some improvements in terms of service and food.

Very nice and atmospheric place, and the waitress was sweet and pleasant. I liked that the venue is spacious and full of light. I ordered a shrimp salad, and my friend had a poached eggs from the lunch menu. Everything was tasty.
I’ll come back later to try other items on the menu since I wasn’t very hungry today.

loved everything about my experience at RH Rooftop Birmingham. The location on top of the RH Gallery is stunning, and the ambiance makes it a perfect place for a celebration.
The sea bass with mashed potatoes and cake was phenomenal. The fish literally melted in my mouth, and the mashed potatoes were full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. We were celebrating a birthday and were surprised with complimentary Bellinis, which were delicious and such a thoughtful touch. From there, we followed it up with glasses of champagne and a few shots, which made the night even more fun.
My friend ordered the filet with asparagus and added roasted potatoes, and the steak came out juicy, tender, and cooked beautifully. Every dish we tried was executed so well. This was one of those meals that really sticks with you, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Decided to try this spot since it’s brand new and reservations are already booked out 3–4 months. The presentation across the board was excellent, but the food itself was mostly average. The burger with potato fries didn’t stand out, though the potato purée was very good and the lamb chops were decent. The dessert was easily the highlight—both the best-tasting dish and the most impressive presentation of the night. Overall, I’d give the food a 2.5/5, but the atmosphere and stunning décor deserve a 5/5. That’s really what you’re paying for here.

Very aesthetically pleasing place to go! We went here for brunch and the service is fantastic. The food was pretty good nothing crazy out of this world but good for the price a the serving size. We started with vanilla lattes and those were sooo good! I had steak and eggs and my husband got the American breakfast. Both good options. Favorite part was walking around afterwards checking out all the furniture.

Had an amazing experience celebrating my mans birthday dinner at RH. The staff was great and our server was amazing. I wish I could remember her name! The food was unbelievable. We ordered so much food but we left no crumbs!! Our bill came out to about $325 (not including gratuity.) which is so reasonable for an upscale restaurant like that. We have upcoming brunch reservations in a few weeks and are so excited to be back!
